Mosley is obviously not at his best but he is nowhere near shot.

Floyd is 33, though it never gets brought up because of how great he is.

It never gets brought up because it's a non factor. Mayweather ducked, dived, and coasted his way through two decades, Mosley fought animals head on for two decades.

Im not so sure he's not as good as ever. Some of these fighters are able to carry their skills into a late age (ala B-Hop) and are better now than they were when they were 28. A good boxing mind can get you a long way in this sport and having one of the best trainers out there in moselys corner can't hurt his chances.

Mosley is old, but still a good opponent for FLoyd. Probably one of the best he could get outside of Pac. So, I got no problems with him fighting Mosley.
I dislike Floyd, and love Pac, but yet...If Mosley/ Pac were on I'd say the same exact ****. Each guy if they beat Mosley deserve credit, BUT they did beat a 38 year old man. So, I don't give them tons of praise. They got a win over a guy who looks good for 38.

Mosley declined to fight Floyd years ago. That's a fact. Mosley also demonstrated in his latest fight that he still has a lot left in the tank. It's the fight everyone wants to see and Floyd should get credit for giving it to the fans (as, obviously, Mosley should also). People need to give up with the nonsense of making it sound as if Floyd's a spring chicken picking out the faded fighters. It's untrue.

It is not a fact. It is actually a PBF lie. That can easily be proven incorrect.

PBF didn't have the ability to make any fight when he was at 130lb and Shane at 135lb. Arum ran his career and Arum chose to make a DLH-Mosley fight and not a Shane-PBF fight.

No offer ever came from Arum about fighting his unproven young champ....NONE.

In 2006 Everyone already knew Shane would not be fighting again in 2006. Shane offered a compromise of early 2007, he even said he would wait til after the DLH fight.

PBF decided to blackball Shane after 2006 even after he fought Hatton he could have fought Shane.

And he could have fought Shane in his comeback fight. He could have fought Shane before Pac.

Now it is all he has left because the Pac fight fell thru.

    Those are the facts.

Agree, passed prime, but more together than DLH was when he fought Floyd. This fight too will be more competitive that DLH/Floyd.

And because he's still in his prime. When he starts to slow down his age will be relevant.

Mosely is not as good as he was. Cotto beat him. Did he agree to throw the fight with Void to get the fight?

Remind me how its Mayweather's problem that Mosley didn't want another fight in 2006. The fight was offered, Shane declined. There was nothing stopping him from a fight with Mayweather at the time it was offered.

Even for your standards this rhetoric is getting lame. Unless you're being sarcastic but even then its a worn joke.

Mosley WAS getting old before he hooked up with B-Hop/ Richardson, now it's like he's in a time machine and has transformed into a wiser, albeit slightly slower version of his fomer self. No he isn't punch drunk but he has taken a lot of punishment. And finally, his reflexes aren't even close to gone. Couple that with his timing actually being better and you've got one dangerous boxer.

Look, I am very happy that Mayweather has finally agreed to step up, but lets be realistic, while Mosley is the best fighter that Mayweather has ever faced, he is aging and past his prime. Prime Mosley and prime Delahoya would both stop Mayweather.

Now that Floyd is fighting him he isn't all that great to alot of fans....When Floyd fights manny than Manny will be "small"..IF HE FOUGHT KLITCHKO KLITCHKO WOULD BE "SLOW"...

Dont matter who he fight, he wont get the DUE CREDIT...
