Do you still consider Floyd Mayweather a "cherry picker"?

Wasn't that cleared with what he earned against Marquez?

He's been a cherry picker at 147lbs, but at this point who cares why he is fighting Shane; He's fighting him.....so what difference does it make.

Bollocks of the highest degree. Why does Paul Williams have to prove himself for Floyd, he has already beaten a top 147, something Floyd has yet to do. Did Marquez have to come and fight at 147 to show he wasn't blown up sluggish lightweight before fighting your boy? Do you really think Floyd wouldn't fight somebody because they were not of a high enough quality/appropriate size?:rofl. Thats not how Floyd rolls, he loves the big names/low risk fights. He will fight an bum in a wheelchair if the fight will sell. It's why he didn't fight Cotto or Margarito. There were easier fights available.

Berto/Cintron are not at the level of Paul Williams. You know Floyd won't fight him so you are making up the excuses already.

Floyd's fighting the top fighter in the Welterweight division for him to fight and yet people are still talking **** about him. This poll should have been public so the pathetic ones could have been exposed. He cherrypicked the best fighter in the division and the guy everyone wanted him to fight, interesting.

Nah. Not in the traditional mold. Alot of guys who are regarded as stars have been steered and veered away from this type of threat and that type of threat, and that's obviously never been necessary with Mayweather Jr. Arum acted like such a Machiavellian weasel during the Pacquiao negotiation you almost have to forgive Floyd for being unwilling to fight anybody from Top Rank all these years.

So hang on, Floyd is a cherrypicker because he is fighting Mosley a few months after he fought Marquez? What a joker. Some pigs don't deserve to watch this great sport.

Why? Because I don't want him to lose the fight on being drained. I say Williams should make 147 for his sake not FMJ's. You obviously don't grasp the gravity of shedding that much weight. Look at MP/DLH.

Uh no. JMM has a following and would bring people to the PPV. Coming up in weight is different than coming down. It was a tune up. Ever heard of that?

Now you are just blowing hot air up your own arse. Cotto was "not ready" per Arum. Margo was asking for a fight with no belt, knowing damn well Baldo had the belt FMJ came up to take. So lineal champ and 10-12 mill or some nobody and 8? Bollocks!

Holding the belt might make the fight sell. Who in the hell is a Cintron fan? Berto is a cool guy, but who is a fan? You just make this crap up as you go along.

I give credit for him taking on a top welter and he should be commended. I don't give him credit for the last several years of not fighting a top dog his own size. Floyd is doing what now what he should have been doing all along. One day of sun does not a Summer make.

If he continues this for his next few fights he will lose his rep of cherry picking and I hope he does because he is too talented to not be fighting the best and it is a real shame to look over the last few years of his resume.

Hatton was undefeated with a massive following and deserved the fight with Floyd as much as anyone in the sport. It was a fight everyone wanted to see and many thought Hatton could win it. Floyd put on a masterclass and stopped Hatton in dramatic fashion. I'm not sure what angle you can really take against Floyd in that one. Mosley had declined Floyd already and there was no reason for Floyd to drop everything the moment Mosley was ready. Furthermore, Mosley demonstrated in his latest fight that he's far from finished.

De La Hoya was at 154lbs and all conditions were against Floyd in that fight.

Hatton was undefeated and a titlist in two divisions with a massive following. It's a fight the public wanted and one Floyd delivered.

The Marquez fight was a comeback fight against a well-regarded top rated pound for pounder, albeit above his comfortable weight. Again, it was a comeback fight.

Mosley is the top dog in the Welterweight division and the guy everyone wants Floyd to fight.

What's so despicable there? It's a "who's who" in the sport of boxing.

    "Several years" of retirement? :nut

Why don't you make sure to buy every WW's fights who you think is a competitor... That way when their name comes up the fight makes perfect financial sense. That is right, you Brits get the fights free on Sky! (I am assuming you are a Brit.)
