Is his hands. I can only see one way that floyd can be beaten by shane and thats if his hands fails him (other than him getting caught by a massive punch from shane which shane is capable of). Floyd gives his worst performances as soon as he hurt his hands. Floyd will tearing carlos henderaz apart until the fifth where he fractured his left hand on henderaz's forehead, and then damaged his right hand in late. Ugly fight but floyd hung in there. Then castillo where he damaged his shoulder (although no hands) he went in there with a torn shoulder cuff muscle and made it worse. moving on to baldomir where he again damaged it mid rounds forcing him to back peddle. Two of those matches has brand floyd as a runner which IMO he never runs from his opponents but rather getting out of range or slip out of danger. But people considers that running for some strange reason. As if you avoid punches = running....

anyways. Shane is like a quickier, stronger and just as determined and durable as baldomir, who would really put floyd's hands to test. If floyd's hands fails him early or mid, HE IS SCREWED.

Yes, ...And Ali was like a taller, blacker, more athletic, better boxing, much faster George Chuvalo.

don't misunderstand.... I related to baldomir for two reasons. 1) floyd's hands failed on him that fight and that baldomir's style is a water down verison of shane.

I would say Floyd's Achilles heel is his vagina. It seems to be swollen and filled with sand pretty often.

Yeah his hands are a big weakness and you're right anytime he has hurt his hands he doesn't turn in a good performance.

:huhFloyd still went on to beat Hernandez. The only fight he really looked bad in was the first fight with Castillo.

    Uhm.

Mike Tyson was hungry, durable and aggressive come forward in his prime, as was Oleg Maskaev, doesn't mean they're anywhere near the same type of fighter. :patsch

His hands ARE a big weakness, but thats why he doesnt sit down on his punches...

Hopefully he will be alright, maybe the break helped him to heal a little?
