I put this on another thread about fighters who visit these sights. I thought this was something good enough for its own thread.

I have met and hung out with Briggs, very cool dude. He is extremely intimidating and has a look that draws attention everywhere he goes.

He is also very funny. Here is a list of his last few updates on his facebook page. He interacts with the fans there too.


Trying to figure out how to let things go. I'm still looking for a kid that beat me up in the 5th grade. He was a 8th grader. I'm close to locating his address. If you ever crossed me your on the list. Note to self... Let it go.

Heading home to NYC next week. Gotta visit Brownsville, East New York and Flatbush to keep me reminded of where I'm from. This gated community, palm trees and beaches **** can trick you sometimes. Gotta get a blast of that gutta smell.

Just got in from running 7.5 miles. Feeling great. I'm sweating myself right now. Looking awesome feeling like I hit the powerball or some ****. Long runs are amazing. Runners endorphin high kicked in nice today.

Headed to the gym to harass cats about sparring, put on loud music, make trouble, pop ****, start beef, workout, flip a table, wild out come back home get normal chill with my kids and let them beat me up. Game Over.

 

Run 7.5 miles, yeah right. That is a good one.

 

same thing I said. That big mu****a ain't running 7.5 miles man.

 

Exactly, that guy couldnt make it 7.5 miles on his bike.

 

I use to run 5miles and I could barely do 3 rounds. This guy does 12rounds, Im pretty sure he can do 7.5miles.

 

anybody can do 12 rounds if they are only throwing 10 punches a round.

 

LOL Shannon Briggs doesn't run! I know other people already said it but this is the first thing that stuck out to me. He claims to have asthma and thats been his excuse for not being able to run and be in shape. Now he's got a PEDs suspension and trying to make you believe he's doing road-work. :-nono

 

Someone asked him how fast he runs a mile. He said he runs very very slow. Maybe he walks... Who knows. But he apparently is trying to get back into great shape.

 

My man juicebox. Bout time I see you say some **** that makes since.

 

Never mind running... Briggs could'nt drive 7.5 miles without gassing out. :tired

i get it. funny dude and seems to be a decent fella with a sense of humour.

too many ****wits on here slaggin people off, when they aint even good enough to lace there gloves.
