Is Manny vs Josh Clottey a farce?!

This is a very dangerous fight for Manny, no farce. Clottey will pace himself and not push the pace like Cotto and Hatton, which could drag the fight into the later rounds and make it interesting. I dont see Manny knocking him out like Roach thinks.

In watching the Judah fight you can see that the fight won't be easy. Clottey is a technical counter puncher plus his defense is very good. Manny should win the first 4 rounds and afterwards Clottey will begin to win rounds however in order to win he will need to drop Pac as the judges favor Pac.

 

I'm not calling it a farce, Clottey is too tough to be a farce. Unfortunatly, his training camp is in shambbles. I just hope he can make weight properly without the guidance of his trainer.

Does anyone have any info on Clotteys weight? is he on target and where he should be weight wise?

 

I think he's a good safe pick for Pacman since he's not very active offensively but he's a well known, game fighter with a good record.

 

Yes he will retire to the secret lab in his country where they make pills that make you bullet proof. The next time we see Pac will be on sixty minutes with Crack head Sr leading a party to track down the lab in the jungles of the Philippines where they make super humans. ROFL Because with all know the Philippines make the best Peds

you know sometimes boxing for the fans is all about popularity, people dissect a fighter's wins rather than what he brings to the table. Clottey is even a tougher fight than hatton or cotto, because what he had those 2 don't have and thats a steel body and chin

 

To be fair, if you are in the WW division or below, unless your name is Mayweather or Mosley, you will be seen as Sacificial Lamb if fighting Pac so there's not much Pac can do. I dont see how Berto, Bradley is gonna be a bigger challenge...id pick Clottey to beat both guys.

I have no doubt Clottey shows up to this fight weighing 160 pounds. This will be the strongest and biggest fighter Pac has ever fought. He walked over a weight drained De la Hoya, a changed fighter in Cotto/Hatton.....can he walk through a true welters power?

Its a fixed fight in my eyes. I believe Arum has Clottey in their to lose on purpose and to make it look good. Who benefits by Clottey winning???? Nobody not even Clottey. Arum will not let that happen, you would have to kill him before the fight started literally. CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL WHAT IS JOSH CLOTTEY GETTING PAID FOR THIS FIGHT? Clottey also lacks a right hand, he is finding it hard to make 147, and he's getting old. Imo he was picked as a stooge for PAc before Pac retires, and JC will be paid accordingly for losing...
