Not really. He said Floyd's dad and his are close. Assuming that's true it's not really all that crazy for Floyd to give his little sister some money and tell her to go get herself something fun with it.

It's not like he said "here you go, you broke ass *****s, go get you an economy pack of ramen". It was just a gift to a little girl. I'm sure it made her day.

I used to work at Good Guys Electronics. I sold a 55 inch Mitsubishi TV to Floyd about a month after the Corrales fight. I was showing him a copy of the newest Sports Illustrated which had a writeup and some pics from that fight (which he hadn't seen yet) and he was actually a really nice humble guy to me and the other sales people. His whole persona when selling a fight since then has really made me forget about that nice dude I sold a TV to back in the day... that shows you how effective he is when he gets into that promotional mode.

 

Mayweather is talking this trash because:

A) It sells fights to casual fans and haters

B) He isn't a natural "fighter" and needs to not like a guy to get "up" for a fight

I am sure they both will be showering each other with praise post fight. Win or lose. They both will get paid out of the butt, so they both won.

That stuff Mayweather said about the divorce, wife, kids, etc... was foul. At the same time this is boxing where people bash each other's faces in.

indeed but the Boxer shall always remain more aprecitave of his fans rather then the other way around. You sleep in silk pajamas and a $10000 bed and ride in rolls royces because of us. I got to see you fight then I slept on a $1000 matress in some sweat pants. He going to love us more then we love him. I financial stable boxer may come back to fight because of the love of the sport and the love of the fans, we would easily be talking about manny pac solely if he never came back he would be forgotten see how easily the love is gone? but every day he thought of hearing us roar over him fight his way to another win.

Your issue stems from him bragging about meeting floyd and accepting his money. He very easliy could say mutha****a i can buy my own ticket. Money is universal lol it can be used for anything.

 

see they were friends but shane had to do what was best for shane floyd understands this he understands the power of money his nick name is money. They dont hate eachother but they got there minds in gear for a fight after the fight Floyd will be hunble as always show love and say this was the hardest fight of my life and shanes a great fighter ect ect ect
