I actually thought Escalante-Roman was a great matchup all you have to do is look at Romans record to see he is no stiff and with the background of this fight it always had a look of a very well matched fight. Honorio's opponent has faced very poor opposition and is cleary over matched. I think Rico Ramos is the more interesting proposition on the card.
Yeah I think anyone with lateral movement can dance to a ud against Urango. The fight has a imo a similar layout to pac clottey. A foreign strong fighter with basic skills and who can be outworked against a fast southpaw who will look to go in and out.
I agree, it looks like he still has some "filling out" to do so that may help with the power. He's only 20 after all.
Yep. I think the same. Urango is a good fighter who hits hard, but he's a bit of a plodder. Alexander looks a good all round fighter so he should stay out of trouble and win a UD. Anyone know the estimated start time for this fight?
Thats interesting...a trial ref is in the ring and he isn't scoring it (another ref outside the ring is).
Not seen any of Rico Ramos or heard much either. I'll probably just wait and watch it on ESPN tomorrow. Hilario is a decent fight from what i have seen wouldn't be surprised if he put Honorio down Molina had a few chances to finish him but couldn't find a punch to put him down. The undercard for a espn show is pretty weak usually they have a good few prospects but only really have Ramos on.
