I'm excited man. Any time Pac fights, I don't know what to expect. I put good money on Pac to win a decision and now I'm thinking I underestimated the little ****er. I mean Clottey handled 1600 punches from Plastorama, and now he's fighting a dude who comes into camp at 147... No way he can get ktfo right?
I'm just getting excited, still trying to get over the whole Mayweather mess... Still heartbroken over that fellas.... But no doubt, Pac never fails to entertain. So I will tune in and be ready for excitement.... Pac is the best he's ever been, the dude is peaking right now so there's no chance I'll miss this one... One of his last fights and one of the best to ever lace them up, ever... I expect something brutal...
Not excited whatsoever, and I really won't order the PPV. First time in many many years I've elected not to.
Whether it will be one-sided or not (I am leaning more on the latter), this will be an exciting event. One thing you will like about Pac is he fights for fans. He knows he is there inside the ring to both win and entertain. Not a smart boxing philosophy for sure, but he has been doing it successfully for the past three years so who are we to argue. I say, let us just enjoy what he is giving to us while he is fighting. We'll miss the surprises and the knock downs once he retires.
did you here that mayweather and Mosely are fighting MAy 1st!!!! so did every one else, this is going to be swept under teh Rug. 300-400k tops
I am amazed at those who act like this isn't a major fight or might be a damn good one. "Oh, i'm not excited at all...." ****in casuals....
Man you'd figure one of the more level headed posters here would understand personal preference. This just isn't a fight I want to see. I'm not excited about it. I think I've sat through enough Klitscho vs Ibragamov-types to not have to worry about someone trying to yank on my fan card.
You think this will look like Klitschko vs Ibragamov? :huh Really? I get the sense it's more sour grapes than anything.
Dont know how many PPV buys but I know I will be passing this up, still pissed with Arum messing up the Pac vs Mayweather fight.
You missed my point with that. I've sat through enough Wlad-Iggy type "slugfests" that I've proven I'm more than a casual observer of the sport. Like I said, missing out on Pac vs Clottey (at least paying for it) doesn't automatically revoke the 10+ years I've put on my boxing fan card. Lord knows I still have roll over points from 2002 that I haven't used yet. I just dislike when somebody for some reason or another implies that people who don't share the beliefs they do are a casual fan and/or "hater" of the sport.
Pac has the heart of Gatti with the skill and power of a young Tyson..... Clottey has not one special gift, maybe his D, but he does everything right..... How can this not be a great fight... With this fight Pac will have fought 2 out of the top 5 welters in his last two outings, more than impressive.... Clottey is the real deal... Pac is the deal... And the biz...
I'm quite calm thank you. It's something that annoys me and shouldn't be allowed to go unchecked especially when it comes from someone who's usually on a level above that kinda ****.
Ya its gonna be awesome to be there. I think its gonna be a good fight, and well worth the trip or the PPV. Just watching HBO PPV being filmed in another place than Vegas will be interesting. Jerry Jones might be on to something here. I've been to a few boxing fights but never one with 45,000 people. I don't think I've ever been to a baseball game with 45,000 people and I've been to almost all the Astros home playoff and world series games of 2005.
