I know alot of people were interested in knowing whether Mayweather (Floyd) watched videos, well apparently he doesn't but Roger does.

    Interesting interview anyway......

Also for those saying May might knock out Mosely - to be exact those who said "someone" is going to get knocked out implying Money might knock out Mosely or vice versa

At the end of this video Roger says no knock out, he has a good chin!

hardcore floyd fans knew he never watched tapes.roger does and gives him the game plan.people get confused that even though mayweather does not watch the tapes of fighters he is fighting he still watches boxing.

example he does not watch tapes of mosley when trying to fight him but he has see mosley vs margarito.he would have watched mosley vs berto fight.but no no no he does not watch fighters to train for them.he gets in the ring and feels them out and makes the proper adjustments has he goes.

he practices and trains on his **** and thats it, you know who else dont want watch tapes of fighters Clottey dont watch tapes either.he just goes out there and does his thing.does mean he dont have a game plan either.

That's the side you don't really see. You only ever see Floyd doing padwork, a few lat pull ups and some skipping. It would be nice to have an insight into what they actually plan from fight to fight.

Roger makes a great a point. I think at times we over analyse speed. Whilst I agree it is a very important weapon to have, it means nothing it you are not a skilled boxer and don't have great boxing ability. Mosley does have tremendous hand speed and power, but is he as skillfully accomplished as Mayweather? I don't think so. I think Mayweather has the better boxing brain and that should put him in good stead come May 1st.

I bet he does watch them. He's probably lying. "Nah you know I don't need that, too good for that". Right.

:-( that why i call you *******s haters, its not even about being to good to watch tapes.its about method used to alyways stay versatile in a fight its method used to always be able to adjust.you prepare one way for fighter and he comes out another way then what ?

you bout to get your ass handed to you, with the wtf just happen look on your face.this method of training does not work with ever fighter but there are some that use it.

i think if mayweather watched tapes of castllio he would not have had so uch problems with him in the 1st fight.2nd fight was a rematch no need to watch tape cuz he already knew what to do.a simple tape could have prevented a rematch in 1st place i think.

clottey as i said before does not watch tapes, is he to good for **** like that.no hes not he just dont watch tapes.he goes in the ring only concerend about what he is going to do not what the fighter is going or trying to do to him.mayweather is the same way.

****ers just sit on the pc allday talking ****, go take yo ass to gym and learn how to fight.come to cincinnati and let me whoop up on you a few rds.god damn these lames kill me.i wish i knew a magic trick were i can smack the screen on my pc and it smacks the ass whole im talking to and then shuts down there pc :D

yeah that **** would be tight right there.

It's not a Mayweather thing man. I don't believe the majority of fighters in a lot of the stuff they say. The watching of tapes is one of them. And knowing Mayweather's arrogance, even more.

so little faith, people are so quick to hate and not even think.just because fighter a does not watch films and fighter b does watch films does not make fighter a better then fighter b.in no way shape or form.thats all im saying it, people who dont understand the sport from fighting look thinks **** like that.like fans and haters of other fighters.

but i understand when mayweather speaks or his peoples most think its a lie or **** like that.what if the trainer watches the tapes and finds the right sparring partners to mimick the fighter the trainer is watching and then teaches it to his or her student.what that make you feel like mayweather was not saying he a super boxing god and you would believe him then ? i said clottey dont want tapes so you would not feel that way in the 1st place.

not watching tapes of fighter while you train is more common then you think, that all im saying.it dont mean you are better then a fighter that does watch tapes.im done with it !

    Serious question:
    Is Roger Mayweather on 'drugs'?
I'm a big Floyd-and Pacquiao-fan. But to see Roger talk like this is upsetting. On 24/7 he seemed OK. Is it just me or in this video is he ****ed?
    Thanks

He can say "i don't watch pacquiao" but he was jumping out of his seat at his fights.

Roger only does classic interviews. The guy knows boxing. As far as Floyd watching tapes, I believe that he doesn't since it's my understanding that Roger is a boxing fanatic. Roger is the guy to do the breakdown of a fighter and build the strategy for Floyd. That, combined with Floyd's ability to adjust and adapt in fights makes them the great team that they are.

They said, I'm sure Floyd has seen most of the guys fight who he fights. I mean, he's fighting the top names in the sport and watches boxing, and obviously he'd analyze the best way to fight them. Also, if Roger was sitting around analyzing leading up to a fight and Floyd came in, I'm sure they might discuss what's going on and have a brief session. Floyd's position, basically, is just that he doesn't make a point of analyzing fight tapes.
