I agree with the above. I won't call it a fixed fight as I kid about that, but this comes about as close to a fixed fight that I've seen in a while lol...

Clottey is there to "lose". No doubt, but this is a dangerous fight. Clottey is big, strong, and defensively sound.

So is the deck stacked? Yes.

    Is it a farce? No.

It is a decent fight. I hope Pac gets his clock cleaned!

I think it is 1.5. I heard that on another thread. Manny 6.5 and Clottey 1.5. Not too bad.

When you hire another dude's main sparring partner? You know what it is. Still a decent scrap.

I was pretty surprised how much activity Clottey showed against Cotto even though he could do a lil more. I look forward to seeing the result of this fight to determine if I want to see this fight.

Clottey hasn't had a KO since 2004. I know that I keep repeating this, but the Pac fans aren't getting it. Big, strong, counter puncher, solid defense... yeah yeah yeah. The last time dude had a knockout was when this guy was running for President.

Clottey will NOT win a decision. His only prayer is to reach back to 2004 and knock this boy out.

Like i said this fight is a big joke!!! Im not paying to watch this bull****. I might not even watch it a week later on HBO. I already know the outcome of the fight and thats not sports. I watch sports cause its not scripted and noones knows whats going to happen before. We all watch what happens at the same time all around the world. Thats why i love sports cause its unpredictable. This fight is very predictable and i will not be wasting my time on this bs.

Clottey is a very good boxer. However Pacquiao could have chosen to fight a much better boxer who happens to be fighting in May and who's name starts with May.

And when Arum said, "Mayweather can petition the NSAC and we'll take any test THEY insist", maybe Floyd should have done that.

Not a farce, Clottey is the biggest guy Manny has fought and a legit top 5 welter.

He has an outside shot of winning, but Pac matches up extremely well against him/

The intrigue in this fight is.....can Manny stop him?

It's not fair on Clottey to call it a farce.

Pacquiao-Judah. That would be a farce.

Clottey's a top guy at the weight. It's more about the styles than anything. Can't see him stopping Pac, can't see anyway he wins a decision.

Any farcical element here is less in the fight itself, though, and more in the uber marquee presentation, considering the relatively unsung dance-partner...big stadium venue, portentous title (The Event) etc.
