If it were Kimbo versus Sam Peter then Kimbo would explode once Peter hit him wearing those tiny 4 ounce gloves. Peter is far more skillful than Kimbo. Toney embarasses Kimbo unless he pulls what he did against Ray Mercer(i.e. imply that's he'll stand up and strike but wisely take things to the ground) Look what Ray Mercer did to Tim Sylvia just to see what a good boxer does to anyone with those tiny gloves on.
I don't think so, Kimbo is still one beast of a man at 230 pounds.. He 6 year younger, he may not have the same boxing skill as Tony, but he hits hard , he knows how to kick, he knows how to grapple, and he is strong as ****.. this is not a good match for Tony, in fact he has no business in the UFC at his age.
Toney is not good for UFC ... he can fight but he's lazy ... he can't fight consistantly for 3-5 min a round especially against some of those gifted HW they have ... i'm not a huge fan of UFC but it's not much room for rests on that level.
Almost none of this is true. Kimbo has middling power. He couldn't KO Houston Alexander, who has been T/KO'ed in 3 of his last six fights. His other KO wins are against no-names, old men, and are generally from GnP. He failed to outbox Roy Nelson in his first TUF fight. He also has a questionable chin, having been knocked down by a jab from a guy moving backwards. He hasn't shown any evidence that he knows how to kick. I don't know if I've ever seen him kick, and certainly he hasn't done so with any authority. He actually looked confused when he nearly got an RNC on Houston Alexander. He has never won a fight by submission. Tapping to punches does not count. He's strong. That's about it. Whoop de do.
They're equally as bad on the mat. If the fight stays standing, as it probably will, Toney sends Kimbo to his grave.
Kimbo will probably take him down and lay on him for 4 minutes and 30 seconds out of every round, which will be enough to win a boring ass fight. He doesn't have to be particularly good on the ground to do that.

I hate this :-( What if someone DOES hurt toney for whatever reason standing up and actually beats him.... Ive never rooted harder for Toney in my life, lol, i hope he at least wins one fight there.
This is such a bad idea. If he is definitely going to fight in the UFC they should just throw him in with Lesnar. He'll make some cash, get annihilated and hopefully retire. But to see him get beaten up by somebody as mediocre as Kimbo would be a real shame.
