    40-0 25 KO :hey

But on a serious note. While I'm a huge fan of Mayweather, I couldn't go as far as to say he is the greatest ever. At this current time with active fighters? Without a doubt he's the best int he sport P4P. Being the greatest ever is so subjective there probably won't be a definitive answer unless Mayweather goes on to go 60-0 fighting only the best from here on out. I personally believe he has the potential to be the G.O.A.T. But talking about who is the best ever in ANY sport is always to subjective for people to come with real objective responses. People will always have their biases. Real talk..

Come May 2nd, he'll be 41-0 26 KO. Remember where you heard it first!

On another note, it's beyond funny the only time Pacquiao vs Clottey is really mentioned in the media is when they are talking to Floyd. He is doing the right thing by ignoring the questions and focusing on HIS bout to make it the best it can be. Why promote another boxer or fight? He said what he had to say during the NFL Superbowl and NBA All-Star weekends about Pacquiao and what he thought about the entire situation. I remember many posters saying Floyd can't keep Manny out his mouth. Well now he's doing the right thing by completely ignoring these stupid ass questions about Pacquiao. Now it's down to his business and he no longer needs to talk about Pacquiao until after this fight is done with.

yes because he has the realistic potential to be the GOAT...hate on him n say he aint fought the best...ok fair for 147 at least...but if he is fighting the mosley, pac, n whomever else that presents themself to be of a top level caliber (berto, collazo, guys n the top 10..**** even alvarez is a top 10 now right now towards the 9 or 10 spot) than HE IS fighting the best....

right now he is not at the top 10 or even top 30 level..i believe floyd is a top 50 but a w over mosley puts him spots above others for the simple fact that it COMPLETES THE 1 ITEM THAT DOESN'T MAKE HIM A "CONSENSUS" TOP 25 and that is fighting a top level opponent at the elite level in a weight class higher than your original who can also come close to matching if not totally matching your skills

floyd ud 116-112 across the board

The reason Floyd isn't consensus top 25 because he hasn't fought an elite fighter during their prime at their optimal weight. Mosley is prime? ...Really? ...Scratch that, there's a barrel full of reasons why Floyd isn't a consensus top 25, I can name 50 fighters with a better combination of longevity, resume, and ability than Super Floyd. Mosley's name would be in there.

Take what Floyd has achieved in all the weight classes he has competed in. Then compare that against the resumes of the Sugar Rays, Duran, and Ali(among the few he'll be compared to).
Fairly and logically assess them against each other without buying into the undefeated record=you must be God bs reasoning and going solely on competition fought. Then get back to all of us with your conclusion supported by factually based arguments supporting your claim.

Hey, 40-0 is something to brag about. Like it was when Ray Robinson was 40-0, before ending up knocking out more than twice the amount of opponents Floyd has even faced, that is. Mayweather has a very good case for a top 50 ATG. He beats Mosley, maybe Pac, could be even a case for top 30.

5 losses out of those fights that make him great without avenging a single loss. and as good as they are cotto, and forrest were not these dominant champs that it would take to deem them as being great. vargas was shot.. just a big guy... mayorga wouldve have won if marlon wright was the ref and most argue that ODLH won the second encounter but the record says differently.
