Does anyone know if we'll be able to watch Primetime via SKY without a phone line installed?

If not, since I have an analogue install on my SKY, will it work if I plug in a Virgin Media phone line?

For the last couple of fights with Primetime you need to have your phone line installed to the sky box. I think it will be the same for the next fight as well. Just buy an phone extension and plug it into your Sky box...

  3. I thought you only needed the phone line installed to order it.

I'm sure I watched it last time with no phone line connected.

    Don't think you do anymore.

Think it's a case of ordering through your remote control like SBO.

i dont get what everyone was complaining about. if your phone line is not connected you should be getting stuff by sky warning you that they will cut you off.

you cant buy Sky Box Office if the phone line is not connected so why would you get Primetime.

  6. You need your phone line connected to your sky box to order through your remote for SBO too don't you?

I do. I order the fight then remove the phone line (OR my t'internet don't work proper).

  7. You can order SBO over the phone without a phone line connected to your box but it costs an extra quid.

  8. Anyone confused yet?

    Didn't realise that.

That must be why I had no problems booking Primetime.

    Cheers :good

An analogue install is especially for people who don't have a phone line when SKY is installed. I can't order SBO via red button, but can order over the phone. Does anyone know if it will work by plugging a phone line into this type of install?

Oh God, with three fights coming up, I guess we have to prepare ourselves for lots more of this.

You don't need a phone line plugged in, your TV switched on, or even your Sky box plugged in for that matter.

Dont bother with Primetime, just watch the delayed repeats of the fights on Living TV
