The more and more I read about Pac, the more I realize how everyone he fights is chosen because he can get vital advantages over.

It's not a farce at all. Clottey had to drop his IBF strap due to unfortunate issues making a fight with Cotto for this WBO strap. Now, since most would consider it perfectly fair that Clottey get a rematch with Cotto, for the WBO title that he so closely fought for, and Pacquiao now his this title, then this fight actually makes perfect sense. Since Pac and May couldn't agree to ego terms, Clottey was really the next best opponent as Mosley and Berto were slated to fight at that time, if I recall correctly. This fight is not a farce in any way. Clottey having bad luck with his camp isn't Arum's fault that I know of, although Arum really doesn't give a damn about him and so Clottey has bad luck yet again. So what? He's still a brick house of a welterweight who deserves another shot at the WBO title and he's never been stopped or lost a fight that was anything less than competitive. Does that sound like a farce? Really?

Well, when he has very little chance of winning a decision due to his very spare fighting style his KO ratio seems pretty important.

His KO percentage actually is relevant, as you say, because there ain't no way in fookin hell Arum is gonna let him walk away with decision.

But don't worry. He is quite aware of this, and will dispense of Pac in time for me to get to the club.:smoke

Wasn't Cotto vs Clottey a 50/50 fight recently?, how is Clottey a farce then?

Mosley wasn't supposed to win vs Margarito either, nor was Ali vs Foreman or Foreman vs Frasier and many other similar examples.

This is a sport not a popularity contest.

Exactly. Except for the times the popular guy gets a gift and the unpopular or significantly less popular guy gets kisslessly screwed on the cards but yes.

Whitaker? Nobody was going around saying how big and strong he was either dumb azz. To have 13k thousand post and not a shred of common sense is a damn shame. I brought of his KO ratio because you *******s keep talking about how strong and big Clottey is. Well his size and so called strength hasnt got him a KO win in 6 years and thats a fact you cant dispute Bro. :hi:

Arum and Mayweather knows that the NASC is not going to change. Once again an easy way out for Pacquiao.

Joshua Clottey has never lost via a knock out. His 3 losses were: (1)a DQ loss from Carlos Baldomir, (2)Unanimous Decision loss to Antonio Margarito and a (3)Split Decision loss to Miguel Cotto.
