Simple maths on their part, Paulie vs Khan = More money than Khan vs Maidana.

Yes im not disbuting that, and as ive said i think this is a fight that Khan can lose and it is a good match up (Malignaggi).

But shouldnt Khan, if he beats Malignaggi, honour his mandatory against Maidana.

Not saying Maidana will win, but he deserves his chance.

Lost his shot three fights ago?

And Khan lost his shot 4 months prior to Maidana losing a SD to Kotelnik, right?

Get ****ing real, anything can happen in over a year.
Maidana beat a hungry young lion in Vic Ortiz, Khan beat whom again? Kotelnik who was made to order for him? Salita who was made a mandatory HOW EXACTLY?

Theres a reason they're keeping Maidana away from Khan, because hes the more dangerous fight than Malignaggi. And Malignaggi has powder puff shots, he can't stop Khan.

I fully agree with you on that part, after Paulie if Khan wins then i would love to see that fight myslef. Lets see what happens.

I get the feeling GBP will keep a close eye on Devon vs Urango if Devon wins that fight not a big puncher holding 2 belts they will go for that fight next.

I also heard some **** that Maidana cant fight Khan for 3 fights or 1 year.

Assuming Alexander and Khan both win their upcoming bouts, then any combination of those two and Bradley ought to be what HBO strives for. I'm just curious who Bradley is going to fight in the interim. It would have been nice if Arum wasn't such a **** and was serious about matching Valero with him.

Devon is not a HBO fighter, and also is a Don King fighter. Get it through your head please

Because of GBprotections Maidana is kept away from Khan, and look who he's fighting next, an undefeated fighter. Believe me they want Maidana out of the picture before being able to fight Khan, for obvious reasons.

Devon - Bradley is coming up later this year, forget about Khan, he can do his tussle and hussle with Malignaggi and JMM who are HBO bound. Malignaggi is made to order for Khan but JMM could knock him spark out, although due to his ripe age, I would actually say Khan beats him en route to a decision.

Khan is not a terrible fighter, he's actually a very good fighter, but politics is politics, they'll never have him fight Bradley or Devon anytime soon. So lets focus on the real 140lbs business, which is at SHOWTIME. :deal

I like Khan-Alexander, I guess. I'd rather see him fight Bradley. To be honest though, I think the best fight at 140 is Alexander-Bradley but Bradley deserves a bigger name. I'd also like to see Khan test his chops against a banger like Maidana or Valero... who knows. 140 is such a good division right now.

Ask WBA why they made Salita Khan's mandatory, i cant answer that.

Khan never had a title shot before the Kotelnik fight.

If Maidana was that good why did he not beat a 2D fighter like Kotelnik?

Because Maidana is just not that spectacular, and falls short stylistically against many fighters. His style and power is why people want him in there with Khan, not because hes a brilliant boxer, which he really is not.

Maidana is a rough guy, its all. I bet he'll lose his next fight, or the fight after that. Bank on it.

Darni I don't really hate Khan, but due to his business moves, I kind of have grown to go against him. I felt bad when he lost to Prescott, I really didn't think Prescott was a good fighter, and feel that Khan would take him out today.

But open your eyes, Khan is big business and stylistically they'll move him in the safest way possible. GBprotections are horrible and will have his belt on a lock down against guys like Malignaggi.

No disrespect to Malignaggi, but stylistically he suits Khan just fine.

I hope Maidana is next, but if not then who next? he has to fight a top name otherwise there was no point Khan moving to the U.S.

Nah, they want Malignaggi and JMM.

Expect JMM to not fight Hatton, but Khan later on this year.

Khan will likely get some hype off of a win against JMM, but then I really don't know what's next.. perhaps Hatton in a big money fight in the UK?

Mate, Khan aint fighting the Mandatory for 3 fights, It's in the GBP contract.
And other names are people like Juan Manuel Marquez, Zab Judah, Ricky Hatton, Victor Ortiz.

And who said anything about Khan moving to the U.S? He's going there to show the U.S what he's all about and why there's a hype around him.
