Good point, even though I don't think Khan is a better boxer than Malignaggi, I do think all it would take is a jab for Paulie ... Khan was rocked off a jab against Prescott. I also believe that malignaggi's right hand isn't that bad as long as it stands up. I see it being another controversal decision ... with Kahn having a decisive round in the latter part of the fight.
I dont see khan's footwork as an asset in this fight...This is the one big advantage imho Paulie has on khan is in the footwork dept....Khan still likes to be flat-footed too much when he throws combos.... Khan and Roach should look at the cotto and hatton fights on how to effectively cut off the ring....Paulie is toast when you don't let him move...If Paulie is controlling the ring in fights, then he is probably winning... I pick khan on a close decision because of size, Khan is a big Jr. Welter, and will probably make enough adjustments to paulie in the middle rounds to get the win.... Paulie comes out fast, Khan will have to adjust...
Paulie will first win the fight psychologically ... just like he's done in the past ... (except for Hatton) Khan isn't relentless ... so he's not going to overwhelm Malignaggi ... and he's riding high off the confidence of beating Diaz. Malignaggi will be the bigger man and don't sleep on Malignaggi ... he might not be a KO artist but he does have thudding punches ... he knocked down Diaz and Ndou (who both have solid chins) Yea I think Malignaggi can beat Kahn ... Khan is too much like an amateur fighter and I think because of the KO record people are underestimating the other things that Malignaggi can do.
Every time khan has been hit flush it's troubled him even willie limond had him on ***** st with a looping grazing hook And when he fought Barerra I saw the same reactions in his legs when barerra landed [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UG1cBjZpFMQ[/ame]
Do you think if the fight is close they are going to give a decision to Khan??? That said my prediction Pauli KO1 haha
My break down Paulie likes to keep the leading left low, flicking out his jab, and tries to block shots with his right and moving his head and hips. Got good movement and footwork but if pressed in the right way will try to duck and hold on. Khan is going to expose that low left with pressure straight down the middle leading in with fast jab's which have a longer reach than Paulie's and straight rights all night. Paulie will try to move and duck out the way but Khan handspeed and pressing will pin him. Khan's use of his full reach by not hooking much, speed, and jab will be the key. Khan TKO 9th
I don't see how people see a Paulie Knockout. You talk as if Khan's chin is a bubble. Did you see the Kotelnik fight? Khan took all of Kotelnik's shots and Kotelnik is stronger than Paulie, Fact. So if you want to bet on him by knockout then kiss your money goodbye.
