I can't see PM doing much, Khan will start bossing things after a couple of feeler rounds and once he has confidence he will end the game, probably around 6 or 7. Paulie just doesn't have the arsenal.

I would like to know why people think Malignaggi who went the full 12 with Cotto and 11 with Hatton will suddenly be blown out by a fighter like Khan?

Khan is a KO waiting to happen against a solid puncher at 140. That said, he hasn't matched up with any 140 punchers yet, and he should beat the tough and skilled, but feather-fisted Malignaggi. Probably a wide decision for Khan on this one.

I'm a Malignaggi hater. I really don't like the guy's boxing style. I gotta give him a lot more credit in his last fight with Diaz. He ACTUALLY sat down on his punches and wasn't leaning back as much.

Saying that Khan is way faster then Malignaggi just isn't true. Malignaggi has pretty good hands himself. I certainly don't think that Malignaggi can spark Khan out even though Khan's chin may be a bit suspect. I actually don't think his chin is that bad. Often getting sparked out in the first round is simply a case of not being into the fight early.

I'm not a fan of either of these fighters. I give Khan the edge. Khan's camp must feel that they have a big edge as they are fighting in New York.

Khan is almost a 5 to 1 favorite in the early betting.....

Because his ability to take a punch isn't as good. Look into the fight with Diaz - Paulie got hurt, not sure if it was in the first or second fight but he was unstable. After them beatings with Cotto and Hatton he just doesn't seem the same.

Also the pressure Khan puts on. The accumulation of punches can overwhelm and stun a person resulting in a stoppage. Paulie will get tagged a lot in this fight.

Paulie is the ultimate hot-and-cold fighter in recent memory.

One performance, and he's among the five slickest pure boxers pound for pound in the sport.

Another, and he's a featherfisted chump with no game whose name is built off showing a good chin against Cotto.

The truth behind the appearances lies somewhere betwixt.

    :good

Khan improves every fight and that's down to Freddy but with no history as a puncher, and unless he gets through to test his chin( unlikely )then it would be a major shock to see PM win. Those visits to the canvas by Limmond & Gonzalez were at the start of Amirs learning curve and Prescots lesson further down the line was just waiting to happen, but I would have more respect for Khan if he had a rematch with Prescot.
The Yanks will soon rumble him if he continues to duck known punchers and this is just another distraction, albeit a against a former great fighter, but bodyswerving another Prescot nightmare.

while this may be true- malignaggi is so quick on his feet. Khan isn't going to have a target to hit with those fast hands- not to mention, I think Malignaggi has the faster hands. Khan seems so fast because he swarms slower fighters. Malignagg- i think - is the faster fighter here and khan is going to either a-be in crappy positioning to throw punches which will be inefficient because he isn't planted and is chasing, or b-not have an opponent to throw at after taking 1-4 quick hits. either way- as rounds go by and Khans morale diminishes, Paulie- who has gone the distance for the last 7years- will only be more in his element(winning by points).

Paul Decisions Khan- Tool:experience, gameplan, utilization of style!

Paulie has heart as shown against Cotto but he needs to utilize lateral movement and the jab if he wants to beat Khan. I think Khan is looking to engage as his sparring partner is Pac and Amir may want revenge against Paulie for waht he said.

Exactly- i think Khan is a better partner for Pac than Pac is for Khan! Khan will be good style sparring for Pacs next potential matchup with floyd- but Pacqiao doesn't fight ANYTHING like Paulie. He goes to war and waves people in to engage him. A guy like Spadafora or the petersons would be better sparring help for Khan against a fighter like Paulie

    Malignaggi should be the favorite.
He should have no problem with Khan.
