You think when people say "big and strong" it means they are talking about his KO ratio? :huh

    Strength and size =/= power.

not a farce, not a superfight, but still a good fight.

Cotto vs Clottey was 50/50. Then they fought, and Cotto won a very close fight, and got obliterated by Pac shortly thereafter. Now, I'm not believer in the triangle theory, but if Cotto and Clottey are roughly on the same level then it's pretty obvious that Pac is a level or two above both given what a mismatch Pac vs Cotto ended up being.

Regarding upsets, sure they happen, but they are called upsets because they are unexpected, and they are unexpected because they happen rarely. Saying "this unlikely event could happen, just look at all of these other unlikely events that happened!" only works if you conveniently ignore the many more times that the very likely thing happened.

What does being big and strong buy him if it's not punching power? Durability? If Pac were the type to fade in fights that might matter, but he's not, so being big and strong really just means he'll by decision instead of knockout.

That's chin. It does add durability to his already good chin. Anyway, it means he can apply better pressure and is harder to bully around. Can help in clinches, roughing up fighters, tiring them,, pushing, not getting pushed, etc. It means a lot more than KO power. :good

Pacquiao would destroy Judah at least at this point of his career. Judah is best trying to go back to 140 and pick up titles there. Guys like Mosley, Clottey, Pacquiao and Mayweather beat him or re-beat him though I do see him getting seroius and beating Cotto in a rematch but hope one doesn't occur.

Some of which might be relevant if it was a fight between two other fighters. But Pac isn't going to get into a rough, close quarters fight, because he doesn't need to. He's got good footspeed and he puts him punches together best at mid-range. Likewise, Clottey isn't a very physical fighter. He doesn't try to rough guys up and outmuscle them in close like a Hatton or a Castillo. He waits behind his hands and counters. He doesn't lean on his opponent, he doesn't clinch often...he doesn't do any of the things that MIGHT bring his physical advantages to bear.

So you're left with, again, his size giving him durability. Which won't win him the fight.

:patsch Is it too much to ask for you to act like a friggin adult? And Pac's not even my fave fighter little kid. But if you are going to make a big deal about KO ratios...lean some history. I've probably been watching this sport longer then you've been alive junior.

Again, if petitioned, they very well might. You have no grounds to say they WON'T listen to a request. Are you aware the business big fights bring to Vegas? Of course they would take it into consideration, because they have a lot to lose, and much to gain.

You've already made up your mind though. Doubtful you'll listen to logic or reason.

Could of fooled me. Clottey was muscling Judah around like he was a little kid in the ring. Clottey will muscle around a smaller, weaker opponent. Muscling Pac around and making him off balance and frustrated is the perfect way for him to have success. If stands in front of him A LA Cotto's dumb ass with no head movement he will get tagged up. And lol at these epic clowns(had to use internet jargon) acting as if his half ass shitty training camp has no impact on this fight. If you watch boxing and ever heard any fighters talk... they say the fight is WON in the preparation more so than in the ring.. not to mention the biggest fight of ones career.

Changing their rules for one fight based on a petition from one fighter would be an admission that their current testing policy is not sufficient to catch all forms of PEDs. They would have to either adjust their policy for all future fights or face serious questions regarding why the felt it was necessary only for this fight. Basically it would make them look bad, as well as giving the impression that they felt Pac might be guilty.

Lance, Arum made the statement about Floyd petitioning the NSAC in late Dec. The commission was slated to meet Jan. 19th. Considering, their proposed bout was for March 13th, there is no way that they would've had time institute the new testing protocols in time for the fight. Not only that, but Kizer remarked soon after Arum's statement that the commsission would be highly unlikely to change their testing policy to include blood testing. I'm pretty sure Arum was aware of all of this when he made that statement.

 On top of Manny Pacaroid is the only fighter allowed to change rules for his fights. Making catch weights for other people's titles...lol and **** like that.
