I don't know, but endorsement contracts are supposed to be for prestige. Hard to imagine a sports apparel giant like Nike would be a cheapskate and gyp a superstar in a niche sport. How can that translate to sales? Will putting one over Pacquiao with a comparatively ridiculous sum of $74K entice his fans to buy products of the perpetrator?

I bet it was Floyd who was offered $74K by Nike and when Pacquiao eventually ended up with an endorsement deal with them the bitter ***** just assumed Pacquiao wasn't offered a better deal. :rofl
Makes sense if you think about Floyd always assuming he is better than anyone at anything and if he couldn't do it nobody could except if they were juicing.

Why is Floyd being jealous? He already had an AT&T endorsement deal which made his fans ditch Verizon/T-Mobile/Sprint.

Someone earlier beat me to the google search, but the results on the first page are suspect too because they lead to other message forums and most are quoting the philippine press without links.

But yes, it seems pac signed in 2006 heading into the third morales fight where they mention he cancelled a photo shoot with Kobe to continue training. It does not disclose the money details.

Another piece from 2008 says he signed a new deal worth 20 million.

An interesting thing of note is that it says Pacqiuao is the first boxer to sign an endorsement deal through nike. Roy Jones had one, but was limited to the Jordan brand.

All of this is found on the first page of results if you google "pacqiuao nike contract" Again, nothing concrete comes up though.

I'm not a floyd fan one bit, in any way, shape, or form. Not at all.
However, I think both guys have a severe fondness of money. Remember, Pacqiuao is the same guy who accepted a suitcase full of cash from goldenboy and then signed a deal with top rank at the same time. Setting off a legal war between the two. Sounds to me like Pac would make a perfect politician

HUMILITY is not taught by FLOYD's dad. Maybe it's BREADING!
He isn't a billionaire like Bill Gates but did you ever hear Bill Gates brag about his Billions?!?! No. He (BILL Gates) has breading! PBF has breading?! You guess is as good as mine~!

Floyd is not hating. He might be just concerned with what Pac is getting from Nike. He probably thinks Pac is too good to be paid just 74K. This does not make him a hater then, but rather a *******.

    :deal

He is so ****in' insecure and immature about Pacquaio's success in everything (boxing legacy, P4P status, fans, endorsements, money) he just has to resort to these classless and crass shits to get back at him.

You think, why can not Mayweather settle his insecurities against Pac inside the ring?

Well, he simply does not have the guts to settle it mano-a-mano..

BREADING? WTF? You looking at them like chicken tenders? Now you want to make this a genetic issue? Jeez. Pac is cheating on his wife while lying in public that he is a nice guy. Is that sleaze because of his breeding? :think

Not saying I believe FMJ, but let's be real. A 74K deal for Manny would be embarrassing for both Nike, Top Rank, and Pac. Nike or Top Rank haven't squashed these "lies". Maybe they aren't lies...

LMAO!! I think you're right Bandido!! Maybe Floyd is on a mission to ensure all elite Athletes get paid more than their graphic artists!

I had no idea my first post would create such interesting debate and discussion.

But lets keep it real folks....

After signing Manny Pacquiao to their brand in 2006, Nike reported a 20% jump in profits in the Asian market. (which by the way, is Nike's largest market. Nike's cash cow is Asia)

By 2011, Nike projects fiscal profits to be in excess of 23 Billion. Seriously, are you really that dim witted to believe Floyd when he says 74k????!!!

If you think actually believe Nike is paying their cash cow in the Asian Cash Cow Market 74k, you probably believe there is such a drug as A-Side Meth and would believe in the tooth fairy if Floyd said she exists.
