There's a shock. The wrong guy won.

Highly enjoyable fight that was...can see why Zappa got the decision as there were many tight rounds but Angulo clearly deserved the nod....rematch is definitely on and I would love to see it :good

BTW, we're not missing much per a few quick between-round flips to HBO...Alexander-Urango is every bit as boring as I thought it'd be...

How did the first six rounds go IB?

I had the last six 4-2...were the first six close?

    I'm highly intrigued.

I had Zappa sweep the first four and lose the last eight. Plus Angulo had a point taken, not sure if that was before or after you came in.

A draw wouldn't be inequitable. 116-111 (8 rounds to 4 for Zappa) is horse apples.

I had the same feeling. Still I was hoping that for once... But no, they give it to the unbeaten prospect by ridiculous margins (116-111? twice?). Why do the judges even bother showing up? The fight clearly has no impact on how they fill in their scorecards.

I see. I had Zappa taking the 12th and 8th.

Weird stuff overall. I missed the first six and 1/3rd of the 7th.

Just take a look at the fighters faces :-(

Zappa has a ***** over his right eye, and both of his eyes are almost closed

Angulo looks like hes just finished a hard sparring session :patsch

The scorecards just became a formality in the end.

According to your RBR, you gave him 8 and 11. Both close rounds. 5 & 6 are when Angulo began to really come on.

Vic says that he hasn't taken on an opponent he's neve knew anything about since 2004. He said he's going to go all out for the knock out but he's going to show a new Darchinyan. "I'm going to box more, go for the knock out but not go crazy." Vic says that he predicts a knock out.

Guerrero says he's leaving everything in god's hands and that he puts his faith in god. Guerrero says he's going to be smart in the ring. Guerrero says he's not predicting anything, he's here to win the title no matter what.

    Dude...that's kind of a prediction.

Angulo's been dicked over a few times before. Really alloying when it happens.

114-113 was a fair score if you scored every close round for Zappa, but 116-111 is robbery territory.
