Mayweather can't say he is the best

    To say you are the best you have to fight the best of your era and Floyd has not done that yet,
    for one he has'nt fought Pac,he is definately afaid to fight Pac (cant blame him) he has ducked his way around the best ww's out there and we all know it ,how come he has'nt fought Cotto or Paul W or Berto he is only now stepping up to fight one of the best ww's, if he can get through some of these fighters then he will have the right to say he is the best .
    Saying Pac is using peds is only an exuse not to fight him, i mean he is basically saying that Pac is an animal and he is afraid of him by saying that.
    he is a great fighter but cannot say he is the best yet he needs to fight the best out there and the best out there is Manny Pac he knows it and so do we . that 0 would mean a hell of a lot more if he can beat Pac.
    imo I think Pac can humble him... and he knows it.

    He was the best for a long time and P4P#1 based on accomplishments, you don't get that title for not doing anything and he fought a lot of great opponents as he jumped in ranks and weight divisions. If you're speaking about right now then I agree since Pacquiao earned that spot in Mayweather's "retirement" and Mayweather needs to do a lot to catch up and he's obviously doing it. If you think he's not the best because his record doesn't impress you then you're a newbie and haven't followed his career well enough to know how underrated and feared he was back when he wasn't popular enough.

    Mayweather is the ****in truth. This guy rarely makes any mistakes in that ring. Mayweather has fought for too long against too many people to be afraid of anyone. Can't wait till May 1st.

    I'll tell you my take. Floyd was forced into fighting Mosley. Plain and simple.

    If the Earthquake in Haiti never happened, then Mosley would have fought Berto. Pac was locked up with Clottey. Every ranked WW had a fight. Now Floyd is shopping around for a fight, throwing names like Matthew Hatton out there ??!!?! But all of sudden, Mosley is now available. IF he didn't take a fight with Mosley, after negotiations with Pac fell through (for whatever reason) he would have lost all creditability and the Duckmaster names would forever be with him.

    to think Floyd took this fight because he has big balls, is to think with your ass. IMO

    uhhhh Mosley tried to get a fight with Pac before the clottey thing and even before Floyd and Pac got serious...they turned Mosley down before anything.

    Look if he is the DUCK MASTER as you say then he wouldnt have fought Mosley and opted for anyone else because surely that's what a DUCK MASTER would do right????? I mean Floyd has showed time and time again he doesnt care about what the public thinks he is going to fight who he wants so he could have went a number of routes besides Mosley...he did not have to take this fight.....a DUCKMASTER wouldnt do so right?

    Like I said, that's my take on it. a lot of people blame Floyd for the Pac fight not happening, and Pac being one of, if not thee top Welter. If he went ahead and fought anyone other than Mosley, one of, if not thee top Welter, then I think people (as in the boxing community) would have said to hell with him.
