I've only seen him fight once and I was quite impressed by his solid boxing skills.

If we compare him with the likes of Khan-Bradley and others at 140, talent wise where do you rank him ?

Do you think he'll eventually be the man to beat at 140, more so than Khan & Bradley, etc. ?

A lot of posters here think very highly of him but I don't necessarily see it. I see WHY he'd be appealing to some but otherwise, I'm just not overly impressed and I've been following him since he beat Chop Chop Corley.

I think he's in that 5-10 range in the 140 lb division. I'd favor Desert Storm, Nate Campbell, Amir Khan and Marcos Maidana over him. Maybe even Victor Ortiz.

    Unproven as of yet.

Lets say he isnt as good (so far) as Bradley but he is better than Khan.

Hold on a minute! Don't overlook Urango, he is really good. He needs to get by him and that is no easy task. I wouldn't be surprised if Juan shocked some people. He is that good.

I'm pretty impressed with this guy. He's fast, good reflexes, good defense, technically pretty sound, and he can punch with either hand. The biggest problem I see with him is that he tends to slap sometimes with his punches. He's inexperienced, but where was Tim Bradley at when he was 23? He didn't have his breakout fight until he was about 25. Devon just turned 23. Tonight is a big challenge for him. He should beat Urango, and I expect him to do so. If he does win, that will open up a lot of doors for him. I've seen some compare him to Mayweather. He's not that good, but he's still pretty good.

Sounds like Urango is damaged goods. He took too many punches from guys like Berto and Hatton prior to this fight.

He could possibly go up to 160 by the time his body fills out.

I was watching Showtime during most of the fight, but did catch the full 8th. The win on paper is deceptively impressive. Stopping Urango - even on sketchily - commands respect, but no Alexander isn't in the class of a Bradley (or maybe even Khan).

Bradley would pitch close to a shutout on DA.

Who has Khan beat that proved he's next to Bradley in the class of a fighter? Alexander last 2 fights beat fighters that are way better then all of Khan opponents he beat.

I didn't say Khan had better wins.

Then he isn't the class of Bradley then. Alexander is clearly imo the second best fighter at jw behind Bradley until proving otherwise. Khan hasn't beaten anybody worth a damn and now facing a featherfisted junior welterweight fighter beating a lightweight 2 straight times going to help? lol.

I never said Khan was in the same class as Bradley either. Re-read what you quoted.

I think his skillset (based on what my eyes have seen, not how big the names on his resume are) is better than Alexander's. That's not a knock on DA, nor does it necessarily mean Khan is up there with Bradley. It means they're good boxers - world-titlist-level, but Bradley is great (and a potential unifier).
