David Haye vs John Ruiz - WBA HW Title NEEDS ANOTHER FIGHT HERE George Groves vs Charles Adamu - C'Wealth 168 Title Lee McCallister vs Ben Murphy - C'Wealth 135 Title Jamie Moore vs Sergey Khomitski Tony Quigley vs Paul Samuels Carl Dilks vs TBA Curtis Woodhouse vs TBA Adrian Gonzalez vs TBA
Be no worse than Curtis Woodhouse who only is near a bill this big because he used to be a footballer.
Is Curtis completely shot like Gomez? I don't think so and I certainly don't want to see Gomez in the ring again getting hurt. Plus the fact that Curtis is promoted, and trained, by Dave Coldwell who is one of the top dogs at Hayemaker, which is why he is on this bill.
good bill, ruiz may not be electrifying to watch, but he,s no sucker, i can see haye having to get of the floor to win by points or late stoppage. groves will be in a good fight adamu style blends with his , pity rhodes isent on, or craig watson he deserves a rematch with o,donnell, on his turf this time.:good
the thing is hayemaker prootions dosent have a strong stable - so putting n a quality chief support between two well known and world class fighters is just not going to make ££££
Its not a bad undercard but as its a ppv show id have liked to have seen a fight for something more meaningful than the commonwealth title on there.
It's not a great card at all, just about borders on good. But its still a gazillion times better than the abomination of the Froch v Dirrell card. I'd have (almost) killed for this card in waiting till 2.45am that night.
This should be a cheap PPV. I think 9.95 would be right but I doubt it. Even when it came to selling to pubs - Haye vs Valuev was selling for more than Khan vs Salita. Cos of it, my local didn't buy the PPV. I know it is a bigger fight but Khan was a bigger name.
Hate to be negative but its a **** PPV bill. Even in the main event,Haye is fighting someone who many regard as the most boring/annoying/grindiest heavyweight of all time.
Haye better beat the hell out of Ruiz. I think he is a terrible fighter. Awkward guy who feasted on a terrible era of slow fat heavies. Any guy with some skill should be owning him - 2 middleweights proved this.
