Ive seen a few fights too sunshine , and know when to save a fighter for another day , he was given once last chance , and that was the second knock down , bloodied and in serious trouble. I think you would be better suited to watching UFC, i think you would be a big fan.

Save a fighter for another day?! Now I know that you don't have a clue what you're talking about. Save him for what?! Urango is a veteran fighter not some young pug beginner, who happened to have a belt on the line. Don't know how long you've been watching this sport, but from my experience a champion usually gets the benefit of the doubt in these situations. Especially a hard-hitting boxer like Urango who in just his last fight managed to survive a hellacious knockdown and come back to KO the other man himself. Premature stoppage without a doubt. :bart

I gave Urango the third as well. Landed some heavy powershots in that round.

Urango looked solid throughout the first seven rounds of the bout as he seemingly landed the better and harder punches during the fight. It was the right hand of Alexander that hurt and sent Urango to the canvas early in round eight.

I'm gonna make my final judgement when I see the fight.

I think its very clear you havent been to a live fight , I was ringside at Eubank vs Watson II , Watson was winning and dropped hard should not have been allowed to continue , he wasnt a young pug beginner , but the referee made the wrong decision . In the Urango fight Alexander was landing hard clean punches which dropped Urango hard twice , both for counts of 9 , Urango was as I put it saved for another day , can regroup and come again at 29. Been to Vegas seen Ray Leonard , New York seen Roy Jones, even been to Germany to see David Haye. Stick to your armchair , and I have said before take a look at that UFC maybe more to your taste.

Just saw the judges scorecards. Holy **** what a pile of ****. One judge Steve Weisfeld had it right with a, 68-65, but these two judges are full of ****. Omar Mintun 67-66 Alexander (at least he had the right guy winning, but it's way to ****ing close) Don Trella had it 67-66 Juan Urango. So, a big **** you toand especially Don Trella. Luckly, Alexander did what you have to do, and that is take out your opponent and leave it out of the judges hands.

Bradley has to consider this guy as an opponent in the 140lbs division by now. He has the belt that Bradley gave up cause he didn't want to fight him or opted to fight Nate for more recognition and money ( won a no-contest instead in his resumé) and now Devon knocked out both Witter and Urango, has two major belts so... Bradley has no much more options left.

I agree entirely with this. The stoppage was bull**** and Urango was clearly able to go on. With the chin he has, he could have survived. I mean what the hell is the point of "no 3 KD rule" if were gonna see these squeamish stoppages?

Urango was up, he wasn't stumbling, he clapped his hands in the air, shook his head, and complained when it was stopped. He was shaken but not out yet. He would have most likely been knocked out in that round but, given what the guy did against Bailey, there might have just been another comeback, especially how he was actually beginning to turn the tide of the fight.

Oh I definitely have, and have been to enough to see both good stoppages and early ones as well. You're not talking to a noob here you pompous ****.

Just like every other premature stoppage out there there's dozens of cautious ****s like you who give me that ole, "I'd rather see a fight stopped too soon that too early" bull****. That's such a cop out answer. A fight should never be stopped too late or too early, a fight should be stopped when a boxer is actually unable to continue. This definitely wasn't the case here.

JR you are a very angry man, and Im not sure what your point is, you sound confused, fights are only stopped when fighters cannot continue? so you wish to see everyone knocked out? If a fighter is unable to defend himself , as urango clearly was then the referee has to make that decision. An example Cotto fighte Manny last year , fight should have been stopped around the 8th , now cotto looks completely washed up. As I have said before get out of your armchair , and come with me to ringside, its a big difference. Lastly dont be cursing at me over the net , I dont fight with computers , I fight with fists. Peace.

I hate to pound this point through your thick ****ing skull, but a fight should be allowed to continue unless one boxer can't continue for whatever reason; severe cuts, knockout, injury, etc.

And it's obvious that you agree with me that Urango wasn't quite done yet therefore he was able to coninue the fight. Othewise I don't see YOUR ****ing point. So because Urango MIGHT get KOed brutally the fight should've been stopped? What kind of **** is that? This is boxing, if you don't like to see guys get brutalized then may I suggest a new sport for you this time? And it's not MMA, try golf. Seems more like your kind of sport. It's a lot less violent.
