Ortiz suffered a loss but hes still a bright contender regardless, with his ability and talent he is not a pushover for anyone and adds some excitement to matchups.

    So ya youve got

    Bradley
    Devon
    Khan

    Ortiz
    Maidana
    Malignaggi

    Valero moving up soon
    Cayo

i dont know man, when 8 of your top 10 guys in a division all make for awsome, interesting, and significant matchups, and all fairly young and a few undefeated, i personally feel the division is stacked. The most exciting division in boxing at the moment to me.

I want Pac back at 140. If he cleans this current division up, its be as impressive as beating Floyd and theres room for Im the smaller man excuse.

140 Is the best division to me.

    Timothy Bradley
    Devon Alexander
    Amir Khan
    Juan Urango
    Paulie Malignaggi
    Victor Ortiz
    Nate Campbell
    Kendall Holt
    Lamont Peterson
    Ricky Hatton
    Juan Diaz
    Marcos Maidana
    Victor Cayo
    Andreas Kotelnik
    Kaizer Mabuza

    Soon to move up:
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Edwin Valero

Surely the best division hands down.

the only undefeated fighters @ 140 right now are Bradley + Alexander. Valero could move up ..and giving up his 135 WBC belt it looks all the more likely .. he'd certainly add a lot of excitement to 140, I'll agree with that much

and Ortiz looks to be fighting Campbell in May ... good crossroads fight for him.

140 has a lot of potentially good match ups .. and Khan is set to defend his belt in May as well

but I fail to see how a division is stacked .. as outside of the three Alphabet title holders ... it only has 3 or 4 solid contenders (Paulie, Ortiz-Campbell winner Lamont Peterson and potentially Valero)

**regarding the list above me. a knockout loss for Urango is a huge setback for him... same goes for Kendall Holt. and guys like Hatton + Juan Diaz might not even continue @ 140 so they shouldn't be mentioned .. these guys are falling off the map

**I will agree that as far as match making Super Lightweight (140) has the best going for it, as the match ups are IMO the most intriguing

it has a lot going for it as a division and provided the champs fight each other even more to look forward to.. but again
    This content is protected
I don't see enough solid contenders to refer to the division as "stacked"

The best thing about 140 is that even if any one of them moves up to 147 they drop themselves into another seriously hot division.

Sure, a tournament would be nice but i'm not really liking the pacing of the Super Six. Seems to long ago the first fights happened. Fights should be about 3 months apart. Anyway participants could be:

    1.Bradley
    2.Alexander
    3.Maidana
4.Ortiz (good to have him since he's a good draw)
    5.Valero
    6.Khan

Im sure we will also see plenty of classic fights between all the fighters.

People have seemed to forget how great Maidana-ortiz was...it's a shame Ortiz quit, that fight was set to be a classic if it had continued.

140's the best division, followed by 147, followed by Junior Bantam/Bantamweight.

I think when we all think about Ortiz/Maidana all everybody remembers is Ortiz quitting, but that was a hell of a fight.
