It's being rumor in some spanish papers that a possible second fight between Cotto and Manny could happen with no weight restrictions. That is of course if both fighters come out victorious and if negotiations with Mayweather if he wins also fail again. I wouldn't mind seeing a second fight taking place at 147 once again between the two guys if negotiations with Mayweather fail again. Don't know if the outcome would be any different, but a closer fight perhaps.

Pac will be much better in the rematch. He wont stand there to test Cottos power like he did in the first one. At this point I see Cotto getting stopped cold.

Two more pounds and Cotto knocks him out.

Cotto can weigh in at 170 and he still gets beat by Pac.

No need for it. I'd rather see him go after Mayweather, Mosley, Berto, or Bradley than Cotto again.

Not interested. Although I must say, Manny looked bigger than Miguel in that fight. However, unless Cotto develops a right hand, and learns how to defend himself, I don't see him faring much better in a rematch.

This is bull****. Does anyone think this would really happen?

Restrictions or no restrictions, the outcome would NOT be different and NO ONE would pay to see because they would know who would win.

Common sense tells me 147 without that bull**** 145 weight cap. It should tell you the same thing.

Cotto would need more than one mediocre fight to establish himself as a threat to Pacquiao again. If he rematches Margarito and redeems himself, then boxing will hype him up again and if Pac is still around fighting new threats than I wouldn't mind seeing it at all.
