"Klitschko fights the same way every time. That robotic, Eastern European style"

Chambers has to say something to build himself up.

I like Eddie, and he will make a fine crusierweight champion some day. A Klit-killer he ain't.

Thats fine, but name one oppenent since Peter thats known to be both aggressive and powerful. I can't think of one, can you?

Of course your not going to see guys like Bryd or Brock go at Wlad and be successful at it. Thats not their style. I will name some fighters that might have success against Wlad. Briggs, fast starter, extremely heavy hands, most first round knockouts of any former champ over the last 50 years. Haye, very fast hands, a ton of power, good finisher. I would love to see Wlad face either one.

Wladimir is robotic, basic, and predictable in his approach. Just watching random rounds from his last fight proves it, but it works for him. Chambers shouldn't be the one talking though, because he himself is robotic, with little head movement and slow feet.

Chambers will have a hard time getting away from Wlad's jab, but I hope that he brings a good game plan and attacks Klitschko. Can't just stay in front of Wladimir. I think that Chambers can do well in the fight but has to put all of his mind and a huge effort into it. He has to outsmart and outwork that "robotic style" that he says is easy to prepare for, that's the only way because he's at a huge size disadvantage. I'd like to see him take those belts.

Wlad will win, unless chambers pressures him a lot. but to get by Wlad's jab, will be something else.. :-(

You can bet Chambers will bring the pressure, he will be constantly in Wladimir's face. He may not hit hard like David Haye or Chris Arreola, but he has enough power to hurt Wladimir (unlike Byrd) and that should be good enough.

He really thinks that this fight will resemble the Dimitrienko fight. I don't know if its good or not. On one hand he will enter the ring confident but on the other hand once he feels that this is not Dimitrienko it may have some negative effect on him.

Will see. I just can't see him even landing anything big on Wlad. Maybe some jabs early on, but even Wlad's chin's not that bad to go down or have a panic attack from that.

I wish Chambers all the luck in the world, he's going to need it.

Here's where I think you'll be wrong. Chambers will _TRY_ to be in Wlad's face for around 100-180 seconds early in the fight. That's his window of opportunity. Unless Chambers is able to floor or deeply cut Wlad in the opening moments then he's already doomed.

After 2-3 minutes he will then realize that it hurts a bit too much whenever he's trying to close the distance towards Wlad and he will move to the "let me back out a bit and try to survive without getting hurt" tactics. And that's game over already.

Byrd's problem wasn't that he doesn't hit hard enough. He didn't land anything at all! The slickest, most awkward technician of the HWs (at that time) was unable to land a single meaningful punch against Wlad. This wasn't about punching power. It was about being completely neutralized.

We'll see. As long as Eddie's chin is as good as Chagaev's he can win the fight. Remember Chagaev took 9 rounds of punishment, he's tough a guy with a good beard, I think Eddie is just as tough. The difference is Eddie won't get hit as much and Eddie will actually mount an offense.

Byrd was a slick boxer, but his lack of power really allowed Wlad to toy with him, Byrd's offense isn't as good as Chambers, and trying to outbox Wladimir from his distance didn't work.
