Diaz=Lightweight Khan will probably find his way up to welterweight Khan is a lot bigger and will be much more successful at imposing his own will, I think. I always thought it was somewhat of a miracle that Paulie could win three title fights with punching power befitting a ten-year-old. It does speak to his skill level probably even as much as the opportunistic time. But still...
The way I see this fight is paulie in full retreat potshotting mode khan tires late on and paulie Ko's him.
I think Khan is gonna blitz PM big time, way too fast for him. It will be a question of when the ref decides PM has had enough.
I think Khan is faster and he has more shots paulie doesnt left hook much doesnt normally throw the right hand an awful lot - isnt a massive body puncher........ pretty much just a jab and a the odd right hand (which he used against diaz) he can be awkward to close down again looking at the Diaz fight but if Khan can shut the ring off in a simelar vain to Hatton he can unload those salvos - FR will have a game plan sussed out and then its a case of executing. Paulie wont stop Khan - he just has got the power to do it and even if he does he just clowns around ala diaz 2 A ref assisted TKO for Khan wouldnt be out of the question more than likeley a close clear win on points
Can't believe so many people are saying Paulie by KO! I gotta laugh! when was the last time Paulie KO'ed anyone with a pulse?????? Someone even said Paulie has the ability to stun Khan with his jab like Prescott did. Again ridiculous comment! Prescott is a power puncher, his jab's got some sting in it, Paulie moves and flicks it. Paulie doesn't look for the KO, his intention is not to hurt his opponent, so you can forget about the KO. He will try to jab and move all night, trying to win a decision. Paulie is not as slick some of you think, he gets tagged an awful lot, for someone who is a "slickster". Khan will cut Paulie off and unload some combo's. Diaz lacked speed and movement and even he was able to get off now and then against Paulie's so called slick defense. I think some of you are giving Paulie way too much credit here, and I can only see a Khan UD or late stoppage.
Do you seriously mean to tell me that Paulie "pillow fist" Maliggnagi is a KO threat in this fight?? with all of his how many? 6 or so knock outs his entire pro career, do you actually follow boxing, relentless? Khan has fast hands and decent power, maybe not one punch KO power, but he will hit you with fast flurries of hard shots, that will result in knock outs. Proof of Paulie not looking for KOs is his inability to finish fights, when he has his opponents hurt, he doesn't train for it, he doesn't look for it, and he doesn't care for it. Paulie's game is to stick and move, pop the jab and dance to a win. Anyone who says otherwise has not seen him fight, or know little about the fight game.
khan got put down by feather fisted featherweight willie limond and that other cab driver from france with no ko's.:deal
If Paulie can last the first 5 or 6 rounds, I see him taking over the fight down the stretch. I also think that since Paulie is naturally the bigger man, he'll be able to get some respect at some point in time during the fight.
