    Sugar Ray all the way.

Too quick and elusive, a skilled craftsman with power.

Manny would do well but would lose a UD I feel

Have you ever watched Ray Leonard fight? Even once? Like a whole fight? Boxrec? You sound like your whole thing is based off of looking at his record on boxrec and not understanding it. Ray Leonard beat Duran, Hearns, Benitez and Hagler. Each one of those men is of a higher caliber than any of the men Pacquiao has faced. I'm sorry. I'm not saying Pacquiao isn't an all-time great, I'm not saying anything of the sort. But beating Cotto and ODLH's corpse at welterweight does not put him in a league where non-Pac fans are going to even think he goes in h2h with Ray Leonard.

Leonard would stop Pacqiao Late......Leonard was a great tactician, just as athletically gifted, and had that killer instinct. If he got you hurt, he wont let you off the hook. His power is underrated at the weight and He'd dictate the fight. He would be hurt by Manny's punches seeing that he took punches from Hagler, Hearns, and Duran who p4p hits harder than Many. It would be competitive in the early rounds but once Learrd learns Manny cant fight going backwards its down hill from there

Nah fellas...Much as I love The Pacman...Ray would be a tall tall order for Manny....Too strong too fast too slick...with a chin and balls to match.

IMO Manny would be lucky to hear the finall bell on his feet in this one.

Not even debatable. Pac would kick SRL ass. Prime for Prime at any weight.

Anybody who picks Pacquiao in this match up should never be taken seriously about anything related to boxing. Pacquiao gets murdered by SRL at 147. The fact some people are even considering this fight to be competitive is shocking to me. Besides the physical advantages of SRL, his style causes all kinds of problems for Pacquiao as well.

And to the poster who said Pac's victory over Cotto was more impressive than Leonard over Hearns.... WTF you smoking?? Did you even see the fight? I suspect you have not.

Somebody with enough sense to know SRL would work Pacquiao at 147 pounds.

Take all the "legend" stuff away from SRL and he still beats Pac. His style is all wrong for Pacquiao.

Leonard was fighting a monster. He was fighting a guy who with a pistol in his right hand who could crack it at a moments notice.

Pac was fighting a guy he was favored against who had just been beaten with bricks, and then taken past deep waters a few months earlier... As much as I hate on Cotto, he's a good fighter who does display a great deal of heart...

But the Hitman he is not.
