Felix Trinidad would knock Mayweather's head off his shoulders.

Is Trinidad being massively underrated here in this board?

Or they just have not seen enough of his fights?

No, people just look at Floyd's pretty record and think he's indestructible.

I will have to say Tito by Decision. Trinidad was the best 147 pounder IMHO. I can easily see Floyd giving Felix trouble in the early rounds. But once Felix gets them slaps from papa Trinidad, it's on! I think Floyd would be in constant retreat avoiding exchanges. I can accept and understand why someone will say Floyd would of won in this match-up, but I'm sayin... Trinidad.

Can not believe people are referencing the Hopkins and Wright fights in pointing out that he could be easily outboxed, when these two fighters were naturally bigger than him, and used their strength considerably well in outboxing him.

Mayweather, Jr. would be the smaller guy here, who will be stalked and pressured all day long by someone whose KO power at 147 was very much proven.

i seriously think floyd could catch him with a hook and put tito down. tito didn't have a very good chin. He hit hard but he commits to much with his punches and could be countered easily by a guy like floyd.

tho i wouldn't be suprised if floyd was knocked down by a right hand or something while trying to shoulder roll.

Tito has shared to ring with some absolute monster punchers...It took a real prolonged beating/schooling from a bigger guy to stop him.

Floyd has had two knockouts at the weight...both against blown up jnr welters.

Tito's chin was fine...not granite but saying its "not very good" is a joke.

these floyd fans are the worst fans in boxing. Most of them only started to watch boxing after Floyd-Oscar and went back to NBA or WWE after Floyd retired. They only watched boxing again when they saw Floyd-Marquez. It's clear as day Floyd fans haven't seen Tito Trinidad nor knew him when he was still fighting and dominating at 147.

i never said knocked out buddy. i said he might be able to put him down. you do know what a knock down is right?
he was knocked down by alberto cortez, anthony stephens knocked him down, yury boy floored him, oba carr knocked him down, Kevin Lueshing sent him down. these were all before he fought scar. he didn't have a great chin. i have his career on dvd so don't try and act like i've never seen this guy fight. he is great but his chin was suspect. he had the heart of a champion to get up but he was still put down. i think floyd could tag him and maybe put him down.....know your stuff before you try and knock what somebody is saying....
