    Exactly.

Michael Phelps weighs 200lbs and reportedly consumes around 10,000 calories per day whilst training.

7,000 calories a day for little Pac? No way. That's just talk. They're trying to hype him up to be some superbeast.

He does a decent amount, granted no where near a boxing workout. However, lifting an insane amount of weight on a daily basis does burns plenty of calories. Not to mention that carrying 300lbs of muscle (key word is muscle) burns a massive amount itself.

When I was seriously into weights, I was on a 3000-3500 calorie diet.

My energy went through the roof! I was running 5 milers easily and I worked out 1.5 hours full body workouts every other day. I was benching 265 lbs and military pressing 155 lbs overhead. I wasn't gaining any weight however, as I thought I might come back to boxing or kickboxing someday.

So I can see a super athlete like Pacquiao with a super fast metabolism training 2x or 3x as much as I am, losing weight on my diet.

True, but Cutler's routine in the gym can be anything between 50-90 minutes.
Anyone know how long a day in training camp is for Pac?

I think 7000 is a little high too but wouldn't be surprised at 5,500-6000.

Agreed. If the man trains 6-8 hours a day though, I will gladly believe it though.

Manny is a gym rat, he works out at a very high pace. I don't find these numbers hard to believe at all actually, he probably works out more than 5 hours a day. Wlad has a larger body but doesn't workout as intense as Pac.

That does seem like a lot of calories for someone of Pac's size. He does train very hard, I can believe it.
