If it is true, then it should be taken personally. Can you imagine what the outrage would be like if Pac banned all black people from interviewing him? He would be crucified, as he should be.

Never said he banned all Filipinos... just those two.

He shouldn;t have... but don't try to make it more than it really is.

Regardless, what would you think if 2 respected journalists were waiting for an interview, Pac's publicist takes 1 look at them and says, sorry no interview with Manny today, instructed by Pac that he's not doing any interviews with black people.

That would be pretty shitty and I guarantee he would get shat on, by all sides.

You are right. I would talk ****.

But I don't think it is entirely the same. Yo are making it sound like he was banning them because they were Filipino. Was he banning them because they were Journalists who have written some ridiculous, outrageous, inciting bull****, and happen to be Filipino? I'm not saying that is what happened, but you have to wonder if there is any other explanation.

But for the record, I don't like the way they handled the whole thing.

If I was to believe the 2 written articles I seen on it, that is exactly why he banned them. His publicist said she was ordered by Mayweather not to have to talk to Filipino media, his reasoning was that they were gonna ask questions about Pac and he was there to talk Mosley-Pbf (which is quite ironic, he cant shutup about pac). 1 of the journalist is nothing like you described, the journalist Chino Trinidad is a highly respect TV reporter from the philippines I believe.

is covered on the main page Q and A:

"I hate to sound cliche-ish here, but it goes back to that old "there's-always-more-than-one-side-to-a-story" theory. I have covered promotional events for Goldenboy Promotions on several occasions and what I have noticed is that (by personal admission) they simply don't go out of their way too much for what Richard Schafer calls (to use his exact terms) "secondary sites".. It may sound discriminatory on the surface, but there's a good reason why they don't, and in their defense, it is never unilateral, it always has more to do with the industry status of those making the request, rather than the color or race of them. In other words, it all came down to the pecking order, and those of us at the bottom of the totem pole simply had to realize that we weren't gonna always have the same level of opportunity."
