    Rudy,

If you want to keep relevant in this discussion of business, I suggest you get out of the past and get to the present.

Floyd's biggest numbers came out of the Bush era. In the Obama age, he sold a strikingly low number of PPV sales compared to 2007. I am sorry but these are basic economics and believe me... I really want to talk business with you but it's difficult right now because you seem to be hanging on to the Bush era.

Man please...it doesnt matter what president era it was nor does it matter about the economy...Floyd did the better #'s...I'm dismissing that because its nothing more than an excuse IMO so try that bull**** with somebody else...**** doesnt work over here homeboy!:-(

Good for you Rudy. If you insist on looking at things on the surface only, then I got nothing against you for having a problem with deeper thinking.

If you want to talk business and economics but think economic climate is irrelevant, then I don't believe intelligent dialog is possible with you.

I propose we stick to your level of debate and revert to name calling. Ok *****?

I'm gonna pretend you didnt say that because I refuse to believe you missed that interview of Floyd on ESPN, before Pacquiao became his possible opponent, when they asked him about MMA vs Boxing and Floyd defended the sport by bringing up the poor economy and said,

"Look at the numbers of Pacquiao/De La Hoya. They sold big numbers in this poor economy, so boxing isn't dead"

    See my last post Rudy?

That's what Floyd said. I didn't make that up. People who talk business know the state of the economy is a huge factor.

But it's all good. I cant knock a guy for thinking he knows a thing or two about business and economics because he's a fan of "Money May"

You can put it stone...yes I did say it...If you want to go that route, Manny and Floyd was effected by the bad economy....So my point stands...why bring it up if you're not going to be reasonable with...Manny was not the only one who had bad luck with the bad economy! Hell, if anything Floyd got the raw end of the deal given that he did those #'s when the economy took a major blow with all of the bull**** Bush put this country through...so if you want to go that route, Many can make a case for Floyd as welll...What the ****ing point of using it anyways???:verysad

And it doesnt have **** to do with me being a FLoyd fan!

    Rudy,

Now that you've admitted and accepted the economy plays a huge role in PPV sales, what's your opinion on the more relevant 2009 PPV sales of Floyd and Manny?

Mayweather vs Marquez = 1 milliion PPV, almost sold out MGM Grand,

Pacquiao vs Cotto = 1.3 million PPV, sold out MGM Grand.

According to you, when did the economy fall into a recession...since you insists on using this shitty excuse???

Yes, we all know that Pacman outsould Floyd during their last fight...Nobody is dening that! And if we go by the current #'s...Floyd\Mosley is goint to **** all over Pacman\Clottey...Thats a no brainer there...kinda like the Marquez & Cotto deal...Catch the drift now! And the economy still isnt up to were politians want it to be so I dont want to hear any excuses from you since you insist on using this shitty excuse!

I'm only going by your logic!

The US Economy Officially went into recession on December 1, 2008.

That was 5 days before Pac/Oscar, and almost exactly one year since Floyd's fight with Hatton.

we'll know the PPV numbers for Pac Clottey soon.

But I can guarantee you this. FLoyd Shane may generate more PPV sales than Pac/Clottey, but in the end, Pac/Clottey will generate more money when all is said and done.

Manny Pacquiao has sold 45,000 seats in Cowboys stadium. Floyd Mayveather could barely fill the MGM grand in September 2009.

45K seats in dallas stadium will be worth less money than 10K seat at the MGM grand man.
