nope. to see the best beat up and dominate the best contenders in the world as abusively as Klitcshko does it is always awe inspiring. boxing aint no easy game son. But the Klitschkos make it look easy. That's pure greatness.

Haha. I would love to see that. After studying the HW division's history for a few years, I have grown to really dislike the Klits.

LOL, if Wlad was merely "flicking" the jab, his opponents wouldn't have any trouble getting inside. Truth is, Wlad has one of the BEST heavyweight jabs ever. Ever. Why not use that to his advantage?

    Absolutely :good

Think about it. Put any 2 heavyweights (outside of Wlad or Vitali) from the top 20 into the ring together, and you have a close fight on your hands.

Put them in the ring with Wladimir, and you usually have a one sided beat down. If it weren't for Wlad & Vitali, you would have a very balanced heavyweight division. Pure domination.

His jab is good no doubt, but I want to see him mix up his punches more.

But you'd be happy to watch 12 rounds of Larry Holmes bouncing his jab off of Tex Cobb's face right?

To each his own then. :-(

I can appreciate a schooling when I see one. Especially when 9 times out of 10 he's knocking his opponent out. Byrd II was exciting, the Austin KO was amazing & the Brock KO was highlight reel material. If you can't appreciate that I can't help you.

What Heavyweight has a better jab then Wladimir? Who has a more powerful right? Who can hook off that jab better than just about anyone?

To be fair, Wlad's kicking ass and taking names. While very boring at times, winning seems to be most important thing to him at this time. That being said, he's losing fans with each and every fight. The man went from fighting on HBO, to ESPN, now his fights wont even be shown on tv unless the oppenent he's fighting has somewhat of a name in the states.

Wlad has himself to blame, his fights with Iggy and Chagaev were as lame as it gets. I'm not asking him to stick his glass chin out. I would just love to see him at least go for the kill when his oppenents ripe for the taken. He once had a great killer instinct, now he seems very timid to unload for fear of being countered it seems.

Here's where we get the double standard. George Foreman, Joe Frazier would have been lucky to out-point Ziggy and he could have had big trouble with Chagaev-esp in the later rounds.
Maybe you guys rate Wlad higher than the ATGS and that's why you are never satisfied?:-(

Iggy had a draw with Ray Austin for christ sakes, a fight where he was on the canvas hurt. Iggy's best win before fighting Wlad was either over Shannon "The Inhaler" Briggs or a 45 yearold Evander Holyfield, take your pick. Iggy was supposedly the 2nd best fighter at the time. You know where he is now 2 years later, out of boxing and nowhere to be found.

Wlad is only as good as his oppenents, and clearly his oppenents are far from good. Wlad's best win is either over Peter or Bryd, neither one is hall of fame bound.

When fighters went into the ring against Tyson scared, Tyson was given credit for it. When they go into the ring scared against Wladimir it is the opponent who gets all the **** for it. Hypocrisy of the highest level

There's alot of hate here for both fighters. Chambers has the best technical skills out there and quick hands. Should he be able to neutralize Wlad's jab he can make this a fight(as long as he's keeping an effective workrate up within range and not lingering inside doing nothing just begging to be clinched) If he can get inside consistently without getting caught consistently and score then we could have an upset. His height has nothing to do with it if he utilizes an effective strategy.

Wlad gets all kinds of hate. I don't care if you fight like a robot, a Cadillac, a bulldozer...if you're winning no one can say ****. His style works for him and criticising it only shows contempt because IT WORKS. He's physically very strong, hits very hard(even his jab hurts opponents) and maintains excellent control over his positioning and distance that his opponents are forced to either gamble or steadily beaten up. He may not fight at all on the inside but at least now Manny Steward has taught him to tie up in close(that meant his undoing particularly against Sanders). I don't see him panicking anymore because Steward has rid him of that unfavorable tendancy.

BTW whoever said it was a right hand that hurt Wlad in his fight with Sanders needs to review that fight again. It was strictly left hands that undid Wlad....he simply could not get out of the way and kept getting floored because he just was not seeing them. I believe it was his first real experience with an opponent that could get to him and the only thing he knew to do was punch back when hurt when he should have tied up and reset the action. Up until that point he was such an offensive machine and never had to worry about anyone catching him like that because they would either get knocked out trying or not be willing to do so after tasting his power.
