Almost unbelievable, although on the second thought Sosnowski is not that bad choice if everyone else is either (1) busy (2) fought Klitschkos recently and lost badly or (3) has no interest in fighting them.

Still, I think Sosnowski is quite sucessfull recently mostly because he fought right opponents at right time (Williams, Vidoz). I am sure he will put his heart into the fight, but I doubt it will be enough even to survive the distance. His skills were OK to outbox disinterested Vidoz, but that is about it.

I couldn't believe it. I got the press release from KMG, but my head couldn't put the names Klitschko and Sosnowski together. Oh boy, what a waste of time...

It's on www.bild.de -- Biggest German rainbow press newspaper. They say they got the news directly from Bernd Bonte, K2's manager.

What a slap in the face of Don King and Valuev. They gambled and lost. Idiots.

Valuev will never ever in his career come close to making $2m USD again.

So let me get this straight.

Valuev and Don King turned down 2.5 million dollars:patsch:patsch

Has Valuev earned that much in his whole career???

DON KING PAID HIS FIGHTER 90K TO DEFEND HIS TITLE IN OTHER GUYS HOMETOWN..

    but expects 4 million????:patsch:patsch:patsch

I'm actually glad Vitali told him to &&&& OFF!!

How will they promote that fight so well that there´ll come 50.000-70.000 people to the Schalke-Arena? I don´t think the fight generates that much interest, but we´ll see.

When Solis was in talking to be the next opponent if Valuev drops out, they said they´ll move the fight to a smaller location, because only Valuev and Haye will generate so much interest to fill the Schalke-Arena.

And now Sosnowski should do that? Respect if they can promote this bout so well. Maybe there a many polish fans to come to germany to watch the fight.

Btw: According to BILD, Sosnowski will earn 1 Million $.

Couldn’t they at least find better replacement than a guy who lost to Zuri Lawrence.
He isn’t even ranked top-15 by any sanction bodies, except WBC who has him number 13.

In December this guy was talked possible opponent to Finnish local heavy Jarno Rosberg and now he is facing Vitali.
    What the ****!

Lamest title fight since Oleg defended WBC belt against Peter Okhello.

Possibly. However bigger joke fight would have been James Toney.
