I wanted to see who feels he is better above 140 or better below...not his RESUME selection but his skills.

Im asking because it viewed as Floyd is now a different fighter being so cautious where at in lower weights he let his hands go but was still brilliant as he is today but the fighters are pretty much night and day.

Is the 140 plus version better than the 140 down version?

Yeah, I would pick the Floyd of 130 above most greats that fought at 130 but I wouldn't pick the Floyd of the higher weights above most greats if any. :good

130 to 140 he is fine as larry. 147 he has put himself at a size disadvantage. the skills have always been killer but size has seen him pot shot more. floyds been pot shotting more and more as he goes up in weight.

i just thought that the 147 Floyd although not exciting or offensive is still just as brilliant at what he does now.

Clearly he was at his best at 130. His combination punching was excellent and he was more aggressive. He was the best I've ever seen at that weight.

He actually never impressed me at 135. The struggles with Castillo, the harder-than-expected fight with Augustus and the sub-standard performance against N'Dou weren't in the same league as his SFW performances.

At 147, he's effective but throws about 30 punches a round and never throws any combinations.

I thought he just looked a little off his usual pace. Perhaps I was expecting too much, or was underestimating N'Dou but I remember being a little disappointed.

When I said "sub-standard" I was holding Floyd up to the same (amazing) standards he set at 130.

I haven't watched the fight in a while though - I'll watch it again and see if I still feel the same way.

I just realised I was (somehow) confusing the N'Dou fight with the V. Sosa fight!

I remeber now, he finished N'Dou off with 3 or 4 right hands in a row. He did look good in that fight. My bad.

Yeah, floyd at 130 is one of the best fighters i've ever viewed, he's never been as good since he left. I back no one at that weight to beat him

    At 130 = Great.

Above 130 = Very Good But Not Great.

I think the one thing that is truly obvious is the "Personality Differences" between the 130lbs-135lbs Floyd Mayweather as opposed to this F***ING JERK at 147lbs. I am the BIGGEST Floyd Fan you'll find. But DAMN, Floyd makes it hard to be a fan sometimes, because he says the most ridiculous and asinine ****!

On numerous occasions I have been watching an Interview with Floyd and some Sports Journalist, and Floyd would respond to a particular question with an answer that leaves me saying: :wtf.

As far as the differences in his style...He was far more "Crowd-pleasing" at 130lbs-135lbs. He was willing to engage and exchange. Now or at 147lbs, he moves much more, pot-shots much more and not-willing to "mix-it-up" like he used to.

But with all that being said...I am still a fan. Its embarrasing at times and he pisses me off by saying stupid ****...But, he is still MY FAVORITE FIGHTER.

So If people can still like Mel Gibson after he disrespecting an entire culture and religion. If People can still like Charlie Sheen after several drug arrest and pulling a knife on his wife, and If people can still be fans of Ben Rothlesberger after AGAIN, being accused of sexual assult...

Then I know it's absolutely acceptable to be a FAN OF FLOYD MAYWEATHER...EVEN THOUGH HE IS A COMPLETE F***ING JERK!!!
