I don't think that Wlad should be accused of facing all bums.. Eddie Chambers is a 35-1 contender who has never been stopped, has beaten a few ranked men of decent size, and is in the peak of his prime... Hell, you didn't always see defending champions taking on that level of comp even back in the old days.... Larry Holmes for example ducked Greg Page. Wlad's last opponent was teh 25-0 Ruslan Chagaev, who for all practical purposes, was the WBA champ ( albeit no title on the line. ) Tony Thompson was a 6'5", 240 lbs challenger with a 31-1 record and a mandatory status.... Sultan Ibragimov, for as shitty as he looked, was 22-0 and a titlist.. Vitali returned to the ring after a 4 year abscence, and at the age of 37, to beat Peter, Areola, Gomez and Johnson.... Not a steller list granted, but not exactly a string of tomato cans either...

 

RUSKULL hates Haye like I hate Wlad. Haye is obviously fighting the better competition this time by fighting Ruiz, opposed to Vitali's awful choice.
