"I can see a scenario where Pacquiao gives up the title, and may be me and Cotto get it on for the vacant belt. If that's the case then bring it on." "Cotto would be a great fight for me,...I'd be out for a bit of revenge for the UK after he beat Jennings last year...He's a great fighter and definitely world class, but he might have had his time."
If you have never seen him then how can you pass judgement? He is one of the UK's top prospects, although he isn't ready for Cotto, or any other world class fighters yet.
Im just going off what Ol boy said..."Being Bum fed from the gate" So i say good luck with that one......Fighting bums isn't gonna help you against Miguel thats for sure
Not interested. If Cotto is to stay at 147, he should get Tim Bradley to move up to 147, both came from 140 and Bradley wouldnt be at a disadvantage in weight. Collazo, Cintron, Berto, Margo 2(with Margo take 5% cut in purse) are all better fights for Cotto too.
By the time Brook is truly ready for one of the top 5 or 6 welters, Cotto will probably be out of the sport.
Please go and research what the word limey actually means. Kell Brook is not a sailor. And second of all, Kell Brook has only had 20 fights. Please, PLEASE go and find me a single fighter in the world that has fought a world class fighter in there first 20 or so fights! You dickhead. EDIT. Kell Brook shouldn't be talking about Cotto just yet, although I suspect he didn't openly start mentioning Cotto, the interviewer asked him about Cotto and then Kell Brook was quoted like that so everybody thinks he is being big headed.
Kevin McIntyre, Barrie Jones and Michael Lomax aren't bad and in fact none of the boxers he has fought is a 'bum'. Such a ****ing derogatory thing to say about a boxer. Sure, he has fought plenty of journeyman but they are not bums. Like I said he isn't ready for world class level yet, but he has a lot of potential and is only 23.
You can throw Floyd Mayweather, David Reid, De La Hoya, Fernando Vargas, and Azumah Nelson in there too.
Because he is being led well and obviously has a great team behind him. Its EXTREMELY rare. But look at his other 18 fights, against nobodies. Witter was 35 and was boxing crap and Juan Urango is good but doesn't seem like world class.
