Co-promoting a fight is a give and take ... with the stake that Molsey has in GB he stands to pay for the promotion but he also gets a nice cut from the sponsors ... it all adds up ... not to the amount that Floyd makes but its significant.

lol mayweather, turning boxing into 'making the most money' rather than 'whos the best'

boxing is a business first ... no one cares if Floyd goes bankrupt as long as he entertains.

He has to look out for himself financially because no one else will.

Floyd does a hell of a job promoting a fight and taking attention away from others. Nobody is giving two shits about the Clottey fight as time goes on and this fight is being promoted. After hearing about Clottey's half ass training and his Pac ball jockeying you can tell he is coming for the payday. Mosley is confident and coming to win genuinely and any non ****** or non ******* can see that.

I seriously doubt they reach the 2 million mark... I would love it to reach even 4 million if possible but a bit below 2 million is my prediction, therefore 40 million is not gonna happen..

african american fighters dont have the fan base latino fighters have and thats a fact,, latino fans support their fighters no matter the record or who they're fighting.. so this fight will attract some latino fans but not the vast majority.. and this fight aint breaking any records

    :hat

anyways the statement is bull****. Pac guarantee is 6.5 million, not 6. Also, his guarantee was 7.5 million against Cotto and he ended up making 22 million. He is probably getting an even bigger cut of this PPV than the one against Cotto, so even if it sells less he might make just as much money or at the very least, close to as much.

Also, is PBF's guaranteed purse 40 million? Comon people wake up he is comparing apples and oranges.

Floyd also said he's the greatest fighter of all time. He recently went on HBO and said he's dominated the sport of boxing since 1996, which, for those of us who can count, is several years before he even became pro. Floyd's an idiot. Stop listening to what stupd people have to say.

He won the bronze in the 96 summer games and had his first pro fight in October of 96. So no it wasn't Several years before he turned pro.

There's just no way though. There's nowhere near that much money in the fight. Mosley isn't a big PPV draw. Floyd's 1.2m against Marquez was partly due to mexican fans and didn't net him that much. It's not an arena fight with a big gate. Floyd might be able to double his earnings in sponsorship, but i'd be surprised for such a low rating as 1.2m.

$40m is a lot of money in boxing. GBP would need to make a loss to pay that, and Floyd's not worth it.
