I wasn't aware Cotto was supposed to stay in the corner for Clottey.

    And Clottey isnt?

His best combo consists of a jab followed by an headbutt ffs.

Haven't watched it again, but round wise Cotto might have taken it. However, Clottey did more damage imo. And at the end, he (clottey) seemed like the winner when I first watched.

I thought Cotto won the fight.

In the latter rounds it was Clotteys fight to win, but he didnt punch enough.

Can you explain what Cotto did to win the fight? Based on how you're supposed to score fights, there is no way you can say Cotto won.

Yeah he was landing 5 punch combos on Pacs and Margaritos nuts, the two fights where he was beaten badly oh wait....

P.S. Did Clottey win an oscar this weekend for that masterful performance in the cotto fight? The way he went down like a sniper snuffed him was amazing.

    http://compuboxonline.com/stat_files/COT-CLO.htm

    In Rounds 9-12:

    Clottey threw

    punches and landed

    .
    Cotto threw

    punches and landed

    .

    of those landed punches:

    Clottey landed

    Power Punches
    Cotto landed

    Power Punches

So I don't know where everyone gets this silly notion that Clottey didn't do enough. he threw virtually the same amount of punches in those late rounds, and almost all of them were Power punches, while all Cotto did was run and jab. (If this had been another fighter named Floyd Something, you guys would be in an uproar.)
