    Hah.
It's not the klits' fault that they're in this shitty division. If they were to be put in the earlier Eras we wouldn't even be having this conversation. They would be competetive, but not as dominant. For example; Klits never even threw a right hand at Ray Austin, mean while, Ali and Frazier were trading shot after shot at eachother in 76.

That's rampant throughout boxing and will continue to happen without the intrusion of a sanctioning body or league to oversee matchups. My point is that you'll see that it isn't so bad if you embrace the goodness that boxing has to offer. No, not every potentially great matchup will be made. But, that's the way all sports are. Everyone wanted to see Lebron play Kobe in the NBA finals last year. It didn't happen...did the fans refuse to watch and boycott the finals. Hell no. They watched because they love the sport unconditionally.

You should try this mentality on for size, you might find that great match-ups are still made all of the time...just not the match-ups the public originally envisioned. Look at Mayweather at Pacquiao...instead of one great fight we now can look forward to two.

Its hard to know this for sure. Klits' size alone and ability to force opponents to fight on the outside would have given even these legendary boxers difficulties. But I would like to see present day fighters risk more against the Klits and try to go to war with them. To date, their opponents have been a bit too catious.

Rahman wasn't much to begin with and no way could he bring in the money like Klitschko-Sosnowski.

I understand your problem, here in US the fight will probably not be
shown life and thats real pain. But you cannot be so much desperate
in finding US opponent who is enough know only for the reason that
HBO will pick it up somehow and you may see it life.

There is no judgment for putting Toney's and Wlad's leftovers into
the hands of Vitaly, if you follow this track you could include
Brewster and one handed Golota who are more exciting than Rahman
and who have better or at least no worse recent records than The Rock.

Maybe ESPN will pick this up. They had Sosnowski on before on FNF.

I, personally, couldn't imagine a guy like Frazier giving Vitali any problems.

    :good Good post.

Though let me ask you this. Give boxing fans a choice, would rather see two good fights in Mosley/Mayweather and Clottley/Pac or a superfight between Mayweather/Pac? I believe Mayweather/Pac would be the choice of the people.

Frazier had good tools, he would not gassed out as Sanders, Vitaly would be in hell for full 12 rounds. Also prime Foreman was probably better version of Vitaly so I doubt that Vitaly would repeat what big George did to Frazier.

The 90's are overrated. Holyfield beat Tyson hands down. Bowe beat Holy hands down, and Golota beat Bowe hands down. In the end it was only Lewis, Bowe and Golota that were the top dogs and we all know what happened to Bowe.

    I prefer Mayweather/Mosley alone.

The fact still remains Vitali hasn't fought anyone even half decent for ages and just when it looked like something good might be on the horizon (Vitali vs Valuev/Haye) he takes on a european level fighter who shouldn't even be in the same ring.

And before you say it, Valuev and Haye would have been available for the right money. As would any of the top ten heavies. Of which Sosnowski isn't one.
