Most know i am no Cotto fan. I predictated Clottey would win the fight. In my eyes Clottey lost that fight. He did not do enough to win. There were times when I was screaming at the TV wishing he would let his hands go...but he didn't and he lost.

 

by the way.. A few things to note....


In the fight..

Clottey landed 1 less jab than Cotto. One less.
Clottey landed 44 more Power Punches.


Clottey outlanded Cotto in 8 Rounds.
Cotto outlanded Clottey in 3 Rounds.
They Tied in 1 Round.


I know that Compubox numbers don't tell the whole story. But they are rarely this far off.

clottey won that fight fairly clearly to me you could see from around round 7/8 onwards cotto did his usual get on his bicycle and try and chip and peck his way to the final bell. Some might call that boxing but I don't and i scored the fight accordingly. You can see even by cottos body language from around the midway point he was breaking down and giving up

Cotto won that one Clottey has no heart. And Pac will beat him easily unless Clottey uses his head.

 

Cotto beat Mosley...and now... PBF is fighting mosley

 

Clottey needs to STFU when it comes to the Cotto fight. He didn't do enough to win at MSG. You have to make it CLEAR to beat Cotto at MSG, and he didn't do that. He left it in the judges hands. He deserved what he got.
