Hey Bernard, this is what Manny's own trainer said about Manny, not me. That's right, Arum himself stated that Manny doesn't like to be pushed around because he's Fillipino. So why don't you go make some Anti-Semetic remarks to Arum since you're so offended.:deal

 

Tim is making himself sound like an ignorant asshat. That said, he is probably the most skilled fighter at 140 pounds and is forced to live in Pac's shadow there while Pac flirts at 147 but holds the real, linear 140 pound title. I'd love to see Pacquiao VS Bradley and have since Pac's move to 140. But no, defending against Clottey-who deserves another shot at the WBO title, imo, is far from a joke.

 

You know what he said was wrong so why are you propagating the issue?
Fact is, you meant it in a condescending way. your entire post was meant to condescend on Pacquiao's rise and I was starting to believe your lies until fytelod made it right by mentioning that 2 of Pacquiao's last 3 opponents were Golden Boy Fighters.

 

Maybe fytelod and yourself need to learn to read better. I never said Manny only fights Top Rank fighters. I said Bradley needs to sign with Top Rank, or lose a fight, or drain himself if he wants to fight Manny. Otherwise, his chances of landing the fight are slim to none. And why can't I point out what Arum said? Are you telling me that if someone says something that is ingorant we should just ignore it?

 

I don't get it... If 2 of Manny's last opponents were GOlden Boy fighters, why does Bradley have to sign with Top Rank, lose and drain himself in order to fight Manny? It was Oscar who called Pacquiao out and he just came off a win with Forbes... Hatton fought Manny at 140.. his natural weight class. Both these guy are GBP..

As for Arum's racism... you know darn tootin well you weren't on some Crusade to clean up racism the way Floyd is cleaning up boxing.

 

Bradley has a Calzaghe-like desperation to win. Bradley could conceivably beat any fighter coming with significantly less determination - like a Zab Judah type, for example.

 

Frazier beat Ali, and Foreman crushed Frazier...what do you think Foreman will do to Ali?

C'mon Nard, you either aren't reading or are purposely misconstruing my words. I said Bradley needs to sign with Top Rank, OR, drain himself, OR lose. When you have the OR there, that he means he has to just meet at least one of the those stipulations. If I said he had to sign with Top Rank, lose, and drain himself, that would indicate that I feel he would need to meet all 3 stipulations. I never said that though. Now of course my comments were sarcastic. I'm sure Top Rank doesn't have a mandate where Pac can only fight Top Rank fighters, or drained fighters, or fighters coming off a loss. However, many of his recent opponents fell into one of those categories(Marquez, Solis and Hatton are the only exceptions in the last 4 years), hence the sarcastic remark.

Back to Arum, never once did I say I was on some crusade to end racism. That's just some bull**** you made up to divert attention from the real issue, which of course is that Arum has been feeding everyone a bunch of bull**** in order to cover Manny's ass. His comment about Fillipinos not wanting to get pushed around is just the latest example of this.

 

Bradley has no shot vs Pacquiao but he`s right about the Clottey fight... it is a joke.
