Any guitar player in a band will tell you that he can lay down the most amazing riff and the audience will yawn and it will go pretty much unnoticed. He can take an easy riff and get dramatic and make it look hard and the audience will go "oh" and "ah", burst into applause and give a standing ovation. Of course this has nothing to do with what is being talked about. I just thought I'd throw it in cuz I had nothing else to say.

 

I believe he is a brawler/swarmer... That doesnt mean he doesnt have skill at what he does. It just describes his fighting style.

For example...every slugger/puncher doent just swing for the fences. Tyson was a skilled brawler in the eighties...

Pac is a great athlete, but not really a technician. Much like RJJ. The "gifts" are it. Now he makes up for it in dedication to his craft and also having the "gift" of a great chin. Unfortunately RJJ was not blessed with punch resistance.
