Floyd Mayweather Jr. is My Favorite Fighter because of what he does...IN THE RING!!!

Look, I know Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a JERK, AN *******, A DOUCHEBAG or whatever adjective you wanna call him...FINE. I just find it extremely BAFFLING that people (posters) don't understand that it is completely possible to seperate what a fighter does "in the ring" and his ridiculous antics "outside the ring".

I am the BIGGEST Floyd Fan you'll find. But DAMN, Floyd makes it hard to be a fan sometimes, because he says the most ridiculous and asinine ****! The Flashy Cars and Lifestyle, the mentioning and counting of Large amounts of Cash is as about as entertaining as it is Mature...NOT!!! And let's not even mention the Interviews...:-( On numerous occasions I have been watching an Interview with Floyd Jr. and some Sports Journalist, and Floyd would respond to a particular question with an answer that leaves me saying: :wtf.

But with all that being said...I am still a fan. Its embarrasing at times and he pisses me off by saying stupid ****...But, he is still MY FAVORITE FIGHTER.

The skill in the ring is Extraordinary. The Head and Footmovement, The Precision Punching and His Defense is Nothing short of MASTERFUL...PERIOD.

But any Floyd Jr. Fan will tell you...THIS **** (Below) IS JUST SAD, EMBARRASING AND SHOWS A KID FROM THE GHETTO THAT STILL HASN'T MATURED YET!!!

Then I know it's absolutely acceptable to be a FAN OF FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR...EVEN THOUGH HE IS A COMPLETE F***ING JERK!!!

 

It's hard for fans to separate this. That's including me. It matters to some people, obviously it doesn't to you. We all have our different standards to live by.

 

I think everyone knows how masterful he is inside the ring. Only casual fans that are not really into boxing but just a certain fighter don't like Floyd. And who says you can't be a fan of him? HE plays the villain so you have to accept that most people will dislike him especially the casual fans.

 

i think most people who hate on Floyd on here do it mainly to get some of the hardcore fans all jacked up....i dont even believe they believe HALF of what they say about him...i think they are havin fun with it....i dont doubt they dont like him but not as much as they portray and if your your a boxing fan..once he is in the ring....i cant see how you dont like the guy as a fighter...he is a brilliant fighter

 

I like Floyd as a fighter. To me he is the smartest and best technical fighter alive today. But when he is outside the ring, he becomes very annoying especially when being interviewed. He says things that totally embarrasses me as his fan.

 

I disagree. This crap is COMMON all over the place in sports. Even though Donald Trump drops a kid, dumps his model wife, won't pay her crap, marries a new model half of his (and his old wife's) age, builds gaudy buildings, and goes bankrupt then repeats this every 6 years nobody is calling him names. All these banker clowns lost the PLANET'S money on BS investments yet they are still wizards, but Mayweather is a fool for sports betting when he is a world class athlete.

They call Mayweather names because of something deeper.

Floyd is an idiot at times. I don't really root for the guy, but the **** people try to say about him gets past ridiculous. People insult every aspect of his personal existence, calling him everything in the book. I often defend him because afterall, it's just a sport. And people don't usually outright viciously hate an athlete unless there is something else deeper going on.

 

I agree. I just hate it when people say dumb crap like this like it is going to change anyone's opinion. Begging for acceptance.

Manny is a snake who cheats on his wife. This clown hooks up with chicks all over TV. Doesn't stop anyone from supporting him. Yet D needs to show that he looks down on Mayweather?
