Does anybody actually know anything about Mick Henessey apart from his inability to get a tv deal. From what i can gather he started doing shows around early 2000's and had Froch in his stable but does he have a boxing background or a business background? Also as a new promoter how was he able to sign Froch ahead of Warren, Maloney etc? Just interested really

met him at a bunce show and he was a really nice fella had a lot of time to talk and you could see he really enjoyed chatting to the fans, as quite honest about his own fighters aswell!
He signed Froch over Warren becuase he had courted him for some time. from frochs 1st aba title win he was interested in signing him and he went to the world championships where froch won bronze. basically froch new he was henneseys number 1 priority and he liked that. where as warren was after loads of guys including Haye at the time how he missed out on the 2 best fighters of that generation, he must be pissed about that becuase both sell tickets and our world champs.
