E.g. a mandatory Meehan (if he wins against Chagaev -- the WBA has been known to order two mandatories after another if the last mandatory defense has been delayed unreasonably long) and Valuev (through a rematch that may have been signed with Haye).
I think the chances of Kali Meehan coming back from his two year holiday to beat Chagaev in Germany are fairly slim... And while nothing the WBA do would ever suprise me, it's rare for them not to have at least one champion and one interim champion in any division, but that doesn't necesarily entail them fighting soon or at any point.
So, what about that Haye ****er putting anything where his mouth is, and making an offer HIMSELF ? I thought Haye is that uber-draw in the US, so he can put up the big numbers ? Why not putting a huge card with a strong purse together, if he is that genius his fans make him out to be. Or, could it be he doesn't even want to fight any of them as long as he can cash in fighting garbage boys like Valuev ? Questions over questions ...
Valuev is much bigger than Vitali and Haye broke his hand early on in the fight, if you've ever been in the ring with an injury like that before you will know how it can affect you mentally and physically.
The problem with the WBA is they are into extreme recycling. They keep making sure the same old former champions or past challengers keep getting shots at the WBA belt again and again and that the champ is tied up with mandatories and unable to fight in unification fights. In the past we´ve had 3 Ruiz vs Holyfield WBA title fights, 2 Ruiz vs Valuev, 1 Holyfield vs Valuev and now Ruiz is getting a shot once more, with the former champ Chagaev vs Meehan winner automatically becoming the mandatory right after that.
Man Haye looks like total shitt and runs like a *****, instead of calling him out you lap up every excuse you can for that abysmal showing... for the only time he has stepped up against an average heavyweight he looked like shitt end of story no excuses you make can change that :deal
Everyone has that same mentality when they step in the ring with Wladimir Klitschko. It's pretty funny to see Wlad's opponents lose their will when they quickly realize that they can't do anything offensively against the crafty Ukrainian. In the immortal words of Teddy Atlas, "they eventually make that silent agreement with themselves and concede to defeat." Wlad has become an almost unbeatable fighter with the tutelage of Manny Steward and it pisses his detractors off to no end. It's a lot like watching Floyd Mayweather fight: Fight fans get pissed off when they see that he can't be hit cleanly. As a result, most consider his fights to be boring. Oh well, damed if you do, damned if you don't.
