It was a back and forth affair till about the 7th then it became a one sided exhibition. How anyone could have Hoya winning after his performance from rounds 8-12 is a mystery. With that being said I think Hoya was still good enough to take on the contenders at 154 at that time and come out on top. The 2nd question can't be answered as age could catch up with Mosley at any moment. The first 3-4 rounds will tell the story.
i scored it twice. 7-5 to floyd both times. i can also see the 8-4. 6 rds all is too close though. floyd won. if only oscar could fight better in the later rds. atsch
I had Floyd winning the fight 115-113. Oscar was way past his best at that point, even though he gave Floyd a tough fight. Think about it Oscar lost to Felix Sturm and that was like in 2004. He's been a part-time boxer ever since. Not an elite fighter..
I had it close but Mayweather winning, some of who i watched it with had Oscar winning.... I think it was close, but clear.
I was at the Sturm fight, actually met him at the airport and told him he fought a great fight. His girl was dynamite! Oscar was in terrible shape for that fight though! He ballooned up to 160lbs instead of training himself to get there and I thought Sturm was robbed. The Oscar who fought Floyd was vastly superior!
Close fight with Oscar a part time fighter at that point of his career making Mayweather look very beatable unfortunately he faded down the stretch and lost a close decision.
