not entirely true. Roach didn't have twitching problems until well AFTER he retired. The thing was, there hasn't been any long term studies of the effects of boxing. Sadly, we know what it is, but Floyd is using his agenda all wrong in this. Have there really been studies to show that performance enhancing drugs also cause brain damage?

I think Floyd's a grade A douche in all this. He used his agenda in an interview to say that Z Gorres (the boxer who was put in a coma recently) to say that his opponent may have used steroids because they didn't test him for it. Utter nonsense.

You're right though, people don't know when to hang it up. Boxing is people's livelihood. They've never been taught anything else. Its tough to transition from being a gym rat all your life into a normal 9-5 hour job.

Ask Nallege though, he's transitioned from middleweight champion into a customer service telephone operator for Amazon.com quite well.
