    lol, well he seems nice, though. But really PPV is not a gamble at all for HBO, all the risk lies with the promoters, they are the ones guaranteeing the purses

    PPV is actually NOT the preferred way by HBO to broadcast big fights. Unfortunately, fighters and promoters prefer it because they can pocket more money. Nevertheless, PPV hurts boxing because the audience range is smaller.

    It is NOT a secret that HBO PPV Boxing is not the profit making machine boxing fans think it is.

    Boxing is really dying in America. Slowly. But surely.

    ppv and closed circuit has been a big part of boxing for decades. And yet the sport lives. It's never going to be in the ballpark with the NFL but really the sport is far from it's deathbed.
